Hey buddy I would check that battery every year 2 years is too long.I deer hunt and every year I put a new battery in my scope point being you don't want to take chances with something that important. Oh yea just wanted to say watching your videos encouraged me to go buy a 2015 Glasstream 24 ft boat with a tohatsu 250 on it thank you for the videos have a blessed day May Jesus Christ bless you
You're under tree cover. If you were actually using it, you'd need to seek out the clearest possible view of the sky. Also, if you're using it on a boat, I would store it in a good quality dry box or dry bag. Sure, it's supposed to be waterproof, but I wouldn't bet my life on a rubber gasket. I'd be sure to keep that unit dry.
Good point cap. But is made for water contact because is made for outdoors and I had it submerged before by accident and no problems, thanks for watching cap
I have one just like it. Gonna test it this week. Thanks for the reminder. on a side note, you said 30 to 40K to be rescued? where did you get that info from?
I got it from a video that I was watching and it was splaining if a rescue cost is not much for an intense search and rescue they will charge. If it's a false or not approved rescue
And what happens if the test button works but the actual emergency button somehow malfunction?? There should be a way to test this button too or a (software) way to set the test button to act as the emergency button.

Mine went right to green light, and strobe flash (no red lights before position lock). Is that an issue?
I'm not sure Captain I will call the company and ask him what is that indication👍
I agree, We like the music from the other videos. Keep up the good work because we enjoy them. Thanks
How do you attach your PLB, radio etc to your life vest, is it velcro. Great subject and video.
yes with Velcro is the best way
Cool thanks for the reply

this is the only way to test your PLB that i know cap. there is no other way, sorry.
Saludos hermano, tremendo ese video, pero mi hermano deja la musica del otro intro !!!!! Jajjajajja
Rodolfo Rodriguez gracias Rodolfo en un rato pondre otro nwevo , gracias saludos Capitan
Are these devices waterproof?
Water proop cap. But is not meant for deep water like driving is only for top waters
Testing every 2 years is way too long. The battery is good for 6 years and 60 tests as the manual says. I'd do it every 6 months at least.
Prætorian that's great to know thanks for sharing
You're welcome man. Love the videos. Keep 'em coming :)
Music was better before! Good video!
Thanks Captain
Contender D Totally agree. I kept going to your videos because the rendezvous song by inna was catchy.
Can you do more boat videos

Real emergency is two missing arms and having to push that button with your tongue lol PS bring back your original intro music... captain
