I have a 150 and you can do just about anything to it. I've had it for two years and I have flipped it and ran the dog mess out of it. As long as you change the oil every ten hours it will stay good.
Saul Romero get a 150xrx for your child. I got one for mine, he’s 14 and has had it for 4 years. He drives it every day and has 1,018 miles on it right now. Works dam great. Only had to do minor fixes with electrical
I have a 2021 in red with the fuel injection, so far its got about 50 miles on it. I also have the tuner for it too, my question to you is, do you know if the clutch apply has an adjustment or can you lower the engagement rpm? I'm asking because I have to rev it pretty high to engage and when it engages its rough
can you change the tune safely with stock exhaust/intake? just ordered the 200e (efi) xrs and wondering what setting is ok to use on stock...comfort sport or competition?
You have a rear transmission that has a shifter hooked up to it and has its own gear oil, if it's not shifting or there's damaged gears in there that could do it, make sure to change your gear oil every like idk 10 oil changes
How much maintenance does it need? What specifically does it need maintenanced regularly? How often? Is it expensive to take it into shops for regular maintenance? Sorry, had to get all of my questions in. Gonna buy this so i'd like to know how reliable it is or if it is just constant money spending
Honestly I have about 80 miles on it and really haven’t had any major issues. Maintenance is really low. You change the oil after the first 5 hours of use after break in and keep changing ever so often as shown in the manual. Check the spark plug every now and then and clean the air filter and replace after it gets too clogged to clean. Not sure about shops since I do it all myself but I doubt its expensive. I bought at dealership and they gave me warranty for a year. Only small issues I have had was had to move radiator hose around under passenger seat to keep the seat from rubbing on the hose, had to lock tight and put pressure washers on intake manifold screws to keep from coming loose and replace a couple fenders after some hard riding. Other than that it hold up great and not much maintenance. Parts are cheap and available online also.
Wow that doesn’t seem too bad of maintenance. I pretty much know how to do all of that. I guess my biggest fear is something expensive constantly going wrong or having to fix a lot of stuff. But from what you’re saying a lot of the maintenance seems pretty minor. Would you be willing to give an update in a couple months?
