I left my 'family'. No nothing from them for decades before I announced...I know that you're 100% indifferent when indifference is the opposite of love. You don't invest concern or care in or for me enough to hate me. Strangers care when you do not. You must mistakenly believe that I can't know or that I want love from you. Or that I'm willing to suffer this and you. Nope. I corrected their thinking and that was it. I didn't bother to do it in person either. Trauma is not the event itself, trauma is how you the person are changed by traumatic event/s, even if the event is some abusive jerk family member/s. Family is not DNA or this by choice thing we claim it is. Some of the nicest warmest, unconditional love fikmed ppl are those who survive this torment so that an absolute stranger can and does care and invest in us whether we want them to do it or not, so that they just are family or are what a family is supposed to be. If we families of 1 person unite? We form an army. Nobody is ever actually truly alone! Never! That's the insidious lie that we exist to eradicate. And never forget: relationships of any kind!!: The only time that consent of the other/s is never required is when You leave. ❤
