I'm a Seminoles fan 1st and foremost but UW has been my second favorite team since I stayed up and watched Steve Sarkisian upset USC back in 09 I believe. Moved to the PNW in summer of 19 Been to 3 UW games since moving up here last years MSU game which was pretty loud, this years season opener against BSU and this game. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this game is going to be hard to beat as far as experiences go in my lifetime, it was absolutely bananas in there from start to finish. Probably going to have to buy season tickets for 2024. Go Noles / Go Huskies

Husky Stadium is amazing! I’ve been there for NFL and College games - last time I was there it was a 7:38 PM start in late November so the city was cloaked in darkness. Good to see a packed house at a daytime game

I was at work so I recorded the game to watch after I got home, but got food poisoning and had to look up the score. One of the worst days of the year for sure as a duck fan

This is where fans go when they want to be sneaky about smoking or drinking. Very few guards are willing to climb that far up there. And it's Spider season in the PNW, so we're used to it.

I've lived in Oregon for 22+ years. But before, I lived in Washington state 2 different times for a total of 14 1/2 years. My first grade teacher was a Wazzu Cougar fan, so I was for one year. But, pre and post first grade, I am a Husky fan! I've always been a Sonics fan! I switched to the Seahawks and Mariners in college. And now, that Seattle has the Sounders and Kraken, they are my teams as well! I am loyal to Washington state for sports, except the new AFL. I wll root for the Oregon Blackbears. But, I love the Husky-Duck football rivalry! I knew Washington had the lead in the series. But then, Oregon had 10 straight victories a few years ago. So, I was wondering what the stats were. Thanks for sharing those!

@@FAN_addictsI'd believe it hitting 130, ESPN brought their decibel recorder for the UW/Nebraska game in the early nineties, Husky Stadium hit 133.6 decibels for a college stadium record that still stands to this day, and that was back when Husky Stadium had a track around the field putting the stands much further away from the field than they are now. Husky Stadium is literally designed for the crowd noise to be funneled off of both overhangs to bounce right down onto the opponents sidelines.
You need to go to a Seattle Seahawks game. The 12’s have a reputation of being the loudest in the NFL. So much so, they have been attributed to opponents False Starts; averaging 2.36/game. Plus, the Beast-Quake game caused an earthquake
This year we’re hitting every NFCN stadium to see which is the loudest, however there is a high possibility of hitting the NFCW next year. I’ll probably throw a poll up to vote which NFL division to cover next year, so make sure you’re subscribed to not miss out!
I was at that game, and that decibel meter reading they showed on the big screen seemed fake. It rose and fell exactly the same every time. I’m not saying it wasn’t loud, but I think it was just a video they played over and over. But still go huskies!

@@sorenoneil3876 it seems like from google maps that the ocean is a few miles away and connected by water. However, I just noticed there was a lock system. Thought the water by the stadium was accessible for marine life to the ocean but I guess not.
70k capacity puts it at 3rd in the pac 12 (biggest outside LA) and bigger than Lumen Field where the Seahawks play. Sure, it's not as big as some of the Big 10 and southern stadiums, but I'd still call it big.
@@chrisshotwell4442 its definitely a huge stadium, especially from the field its vertical above you it feels like the fans are on top of you, seating capacity and stadium size are two different things, structure wise its definitely one of the biggest stadiums in the country thats not a big oval, and those dont seem that big when your there
@@FAN_addictsas a former Husky band member, it's actually not UW that makes this call. Usually, visiting bands are in the corner by where the visiting team enters the field. UW usually allocates this entire section for visitors. My guess is, because 0regon brought their whole band, U0 decided to make the band hike upstairs rather than their season ticket holders. UW made a similar decision in Autzen last year. Of course, Autzen isn't nearly as tall. Back in 2016 (70-21 UW win, by the way) I traveled with the pep band (roughly 60 students + staff) and got to sit maybe 10 rows up from the field. So it really just depends year to year and on how many students the band wants to bring.
fans that do the "woof, woof" are the most obnoxious in all of sports. everything about this video is awesome except the final score and every poor soul who had to listen to "woof, woof" after every play.... it the sports equivalent to scratching a chalkboard. So, when will you be visiting Autzen?

I wish you were anywhere else than at that corner as the sound misses you there. Anyway, it was bloody painful in the skull from the noise. I read your responses in that's where you normally sit at stadiums which is cool. It's just that this place is so much different than other stadiums with how steep it is in the massive top deck. Absolutely loved that game, easily my favorite games I’ve ever attended. That upper deck is wild, right up there with Clemson in terms of height. Hopefully some day I’ll be able to get down there and get a true reading! I’m sure I’ll be back!

Amazing game from both teams I was up in section 300. One of the loudest sporting events I’ve been too. The place was shaking.

They also had a real decibel meter on the field where the sound funnels. Tony Castricone posted about it. Got to 129 decibels
Yep. I tracked the readings on my phone from my seat, and found that it regularly hit 100 and sometimes 110, but not more than that.
Such a awesome pregame, everyone was pumped. I was at the Chevy booth as a brand ambassador for them
