An idea: Item spoofing: The icons of all items are replaced by another, selected randomly. (Change it up every race or every GP depending on how much time it'd take to learn the mapping in races).
would be a cool mod or something interesting in ctgp
@@chi11_zon37 would probably never be something in ctgp, but a normal cheat code would be easy to put together
Sounds pretty fun
Preferably this would be combined with item randomization; without randomization, you get a lot of information about the mapping just from your position. This would make it more interesting imo as something distinct from s3e3.

FlounderFest idea: Reverse Battle Royale. The one who goes farther in the knockout with less points wins. The idea is trying to get the worst spot without getting eliminated! Cheers from Brazil!

And also, Troy and Nick can't be eliminated, so it's not about getting last, but trying get the worst spot without risking too much. If they both succeed in getting to the finals, the one with less points wins the event

I pulled off a huge comeback again Yoshi last night. I put 150cc on vs mode with CPU difficulty on hard, I was down 93-80 and I came back and beat him 135-118. 12 total races, and yeah so my new rival is Yoshi

Ideas for this game mode:
I don’t know exactly how the bonus item works, but i think it would be cool if anyone who finishes a second and a half from first gets an item. this motivates everyone to want first even more to prevent people from getting bonus items. i also think it would be cool if you could change the bonus item number color to match your position color. Example, if you’re in first then it would be gold, if you’re in second your bonus item counter would be silver etc.

A little late but my flounder fest/modding suggestion is to do something related to the predetermined track your character drives once the third lap is finished. Like maybe have each racer stuck in the path with only acceleration and maybe have the 15 point items available

Once again, requesting a Flounder Fest challenge: hopping the first lap of every race.
Restrictions: No standing Mini-Turbos and no start up turbos from the countdown at the start of each race. You must be hopping from the course selection to the end of the first lap.
They should make it to where if you get an item but you don’t want it you can switch it for a bonus item (that you won).
I will install this.

Hey Troy, you and Nemade enjoying the custom game mode knockout mode just sick keep up the good work, one more thing, please for the last time when is 24 players beta testing updates is gonna be over, and be available on offline and online, i'm still waiting, and it's taking forever, like come on I have to at least able to use it, I do not want to play it on beta, plus i'm trying to able to use it on CTGP settings to enable it, but all of a sudden it's gray out, and it just won't let me, and it's still not available yet, like WTH, all I want is to try it, not too be rude, I just wanted to know when is it going to be released for real, a comment.
