I visited friends in turtle lake Wisconsin and they had a log cabin home. It was so far from Minnesota and I mostly spend time to myself and just fresh out doors and away from the annoying city.Not everybody can handle such a silent environment or such a vast space away from a neighbor, but I'm the kind that I love to learn about my surroundings. a log cabin home gives a person time for that learning and that time. It's a precious life experience to live in a log cabin hause.
I live up in the Catskill Mountains in NY State. I live in Sullivan County. The cabin that was in Kerhonkson is in Ulster County, NY. Ulster is a great area but very expensive to live. It used to be up here in the Catskills was more affordable than living in NYC. Now that isn’t much the case. Because of state unemployment & high taxes and higher cost of living....people have moved out of NY State to either the southern states or out west.

Living alone in the woods is kind scary, I would have to install security cameras all around the house, with lights on...I need a gun too, even then it would be difficult to have quality sleep, it’s all because these stupid horror movies that we watched
it really had to be so big. This is when people with money think they love nature. But they need a mansion or a pool, because they know they’ll get bored.
Now that is living life my friend!!!! I'm somewhat jealous because I have a 5 acre plot in Colorado that I dream will be just as nice as your video when I get my A frame home built in a couple of years😌

Take a look at a map of New York. Pretty much the entire interior is wild. Millions of acres. Catskill Park has been deemed 'Forever Wild' by the constitution of the state. I live in the park. And it's 9* F outside, right now (-13* C for those keeping track at home.)

I lived in a little town called Cairo about 10 miles north of Catskill, beautiful in the spring and summer, but hell in the winter!
My family is in Shohola, PA. There winter is horrendous, but summer and spring amazingly beautiful 😍
I am just happy that someone out there (hopefully the person has a nice heart too) gets to live their dream out.

Upstate NY has endless mtn’s trails wooded roads covered bridges wineries breweries lakes rivers streams etc.
