I was re-watching House on Prime a couple years ago and the header picture when you went to pick your episode was Hugh Bonnevville in Downton Abbey. Someone had obviously mixed up their Hughs!
King Kong Synopsis The first in a trilogy of films based on Merrian C. Cooper and Edgar Wallace's King Kong and Peter Jackson's ideas for a Kong trilogy. Set in the Depression Era, struggling filmmaker Carl Denham and assistant Jeffery Prescott convince film producer Charles Weston to fund an expedition to the mythical island known as Skull Island. Accompanying them are Captain Englehorn, an old friend of Denham's, his crew, former first mate and army captain Jack Discroll, and upcoming British actress and former archeologist Ann Darrow. But what begins as a filming expedition turns into a fight for survival as Ann is captured by the natives of the island to sacrifice to the island's ruler, Kong, who defended them from a terrifying bat creature known as Camazotz ages ago. A few years after the events of the first film, Jack and Ann, now married, live on a ranch with Kong, trying to enjoy a peaceful life. However, it's all ruined once a gang of poachers, who were all negatively affected in Kong's battle with Camazotz in New York years ago, show up to trap the ape-like creature and bring him to Africa, where someone has agreed to pay a large amount of money for Kong's capture, arrive. They capture Kong and take him to Africa, where he eventually escapes and meets a primatologist named Dwan Franklin and an young ape-like creature she adopted after saving it from poachers years ago who hunted it because of its albino fur. Now, she must protect the young gorilla as well as Kong from the poachers with help from Jack and Ann, who have since arrived to retrieve Kong, as well Tarzan and his family, and an old rival of Kong's from Skull Island that has mysteriously found his way to Africa
King Kong: Into the Wolf's Lair Synopsis The third and final film in the Kong trilogy. Set during the days of WWII, Carl Denham has been recruited by two agents, Cooper and Wallace, to make propaganda films to help with the war effort against the Nazi party, which includes showing Kong on the battlefield, taking out the Nazi forces. At first, Denham is reluctant, but realizing what it could do to help win the war, he agrees and convinces Jack and Ann to allow Kong and his son, now called Kong Jr., to partake in the filming process. When Adolf Hitler gets word of two, strange ape-like creatures demolishing his forces, he sends General Johann Herzog to find Kurt Frankenstein, the latest member of the Frankenstein family and have him create a giant version of the Frankenstein Monster. Kurt is reluctant at first, and only agrees to do so when his family is threatened. It all culminates in the Frankenstein giant clashing with Kong and Kong Jr. while their human allies work to destroy the Nazi forces.
She puts every guest at ease and does such great interviews. Hugh is the best Hugh.
