Followed you video to replace the battery on my son's 2016 Beats, I found them on a shelf but after charging you had maybe 30 min run time. Got a $15 battery, after 3 attempts to put it back together because the charging cable would slip out easily. Put a piece of tape on it, reassembled, and I've had 3+ hours of listening pleasure without recharging. Hope the battery last as long as the last one.
My headphones died, I tried many ways to turn it on and it didn't work. I was suspecting it would be a battery issue and tried with replacing the battery using your video support, the replacement was quick and easy as displayed in your video. I turned on my headphones after battery replacement and it perfectly works. Thanks a lot for your video.

IMPORTANT!!!! My beats were not working at all. No lights of any kind. Just try taking the battery out and plug it back in again. NO need for a new battery. Hope it works. It DID FOR ME!

Thanks. Excellent video. Hardest part was pushing the battery connector back into tiny socket. Helps to use a small flat tip screwdriver to position and push in if you have big fingers.

You made this look so easy but I finally got the battery connection to come out. So much glue around mine it made it that much more difficult. I was thinking it was going to be impossible.

Thanks for a well done video. I followed this and another video and replaced the battery and USB port. Now my BSW2 charge and work like new. I had replaced the ear pads a few months ago.

Whew. Took me about two hours but I did it. The tiny screwdriver that came with the battery I bought was weak so had to look for a sturdier screwdriver to undo the three screws A tiny piece of that band at the hinge broke off when prying it off. Looked for tweezers to help position the battery so I could jam it in. Realigning the headband to slide it back up and together was tricky. But my earphones are working again so I am happy.

Its hard to tell. Usually if there is a light showing up when you plug it in, then you have a bad battery.

There is enough bread out there for everyone. I learned battery vs. charging port today. And, I also learned from another comment, that you guys replied to, is that you can reset beat headphones! When replacing battery I slid to far and things came unhooked. There was another plug in there that wasn't plugged to anything by the time I got it opened and don't know where to plug it in. Followed video to do the battery swap and everything bit that extra plug went smooth.

Hii, thanks so much for the video. But my beats have like some pink glue on battery port. It holds down the battery and some wires. Any suggestions on how to take it off? Thanks
Sometimes a hairdryer for a very short amount of time will heat up the glue so it is easily removable.
would two batteries fit stacked on top of each other? id plan on wiring the batteries in series for extra life

hello thanks for the video does the beats B0501 have two batterys on each side just wanted to make sure before i buy only one mine charges but the charge only last about 30m and drain fast i suspect its a dying battery.

hi Joes plz help me i have beats studio 2 wireless and its sound is very low i tried every thing but no result even wired or wireless and various devices the same thin happens while my wired ones are awesome and very loud is it impossible that the wireless one are lowered from factory?
hint to know I made a test for the speakers of the wireless one by setup ing them to the wired and they are great do you think the chip of the wireless has something fault?

Would a battery be an issue if these headphones were bought and sat ,unused and not charged.
There could be a battery issue.
The glue in mine made a simple repair about as easy as defusing a bomb.
Finally got it done but in the process of putting the sliding track back in the paper thin ribbon that connects the power button to the rest of the circuit got damaged, so they actually work but I can't turn them off ... making them useless...again!
Video is good, I'm just pissed of at the design choices because good luck finding that specific little part made by compeq 😒

I changed the battery, and the red won’t change is no more 👍🏽 but not seeing the lights under the power button showing it’s charging? I changed the cord but still not flashing. Only 3 of the leds light up if I toggle the power button. It’s been an hour and no change.

whenever I charged my beats all of the lights lite up and stay on but when I take it off the charge the red battery light would come on . I took it apart from what I learned from this video unplugged the battery and re plugged it and they work .
The classic unplug and plug it back in technique is a personal favorite of mine.

I have this problem where whenever I use the beats studios 2, the right side has a static noise and is more quieter than the left, but whenever I plug in my aux cord, both sides work perfectly fine and no static noise too. Would it be the battery that’s causing that problem and would I need to replace it??

How to know that I need change the battery instead of plugging thingy ? My one is beat 3 wireless when I charging is only go one light on and it not charging, when I power on is flashing red like no battery. Please what wrong with my headphone and how do I fix it ?

Hey I have a pair of beats executive and there the demo version would you be able to change them to like a normal pair because I can only listen to them in my house wit a power source can you let me no please

Successfully opened the headphones and replaced the battery, three times! Three different batteries. Two from Amazon and one from ifixit. Seems to not work. I did the battery reset by holding the power button for 10 seconds, but now one white led pulsates every 4seconds or so. Any suggestions?

Can you swap a Studio 3 battery for a Studio 2, as we know the Studio 3s have a longer life but the Studio 2s sound way better than the 3s?
I'm not sure if the battery affects the sound.
The side panel on my beats doesn’t slide or clip off. Managed to remove old battery but won’t be able to install new one without it coming off. Tried prying it off with flathead but worries it’s going to snap the plastic

You might want to try and hold the mute button and the power button down for 2 minutes first (UNPLUGGED)

After replacing the battery the white light blinks every 30 seconds is this some kind of blink code or do I have bad continuity somewhere?
You should press the reset button for 10 sec and after that plug in the power it’ll work.

My beats turn on, fully charge and power button blinks/searches; left ear LED doesn’t turn on or blink for pairing and the beats do not show up in my iPhone as a discoverable device. What does this issue sound like? I’ve tried every factory reset. Thanks!

Thanks for the comment. The studio 3 wireless headphones use the same battery as the studio 2 wireless headphones. The repair is very similar besides some wires being glued down on the studio 3 wireless headphones.

When you plug your beats in to charge, do any of the lights come on? If they do it is most likely the battery, if not, then it would be best to start with the charger.

Luckily it didn't rip. However, putting the plug back in seems impossible. I tried for an hour and gave up afterwards.
@@BlackEscavalier SEEMS impossible. Just did this myself, same plug pulled out. I also got a lil irritated after a few tries. If you remove the ribbon plate via the 2 screws it goes in easily

Yours are a refurbished or knock off pair
Beats are literally built like trash, they feel so cheap
I will not pay any money for headphones; they make it too complicated to replace a battery.
