Ma'am i have read there are five prayags 1. vishnu prayag 2. nand prayag ( where the Nandakini River joins the main Alaknanda River) 3. karn prayag 4. rudra prayag 5. dev prayag .. and that's why we call it 'PANCH PRAYAG' why didn't you consider it? is it right ?
U r correct and mandakini joins from left from kedarnath and not from right ... From right.. It is joined by nandakini.. At nanda prayag... Which is wrong in video.. U r 100% corrct 👌
Mam u r the best teacher of geography ....becoz i never understand geography......nd this time it was magic,.....i understood each and everything.😊...Thank u mam
hey! finally Magic of Red is back...after a long time now boring geography will become interesting once again.. hope u will continue to amaze...have a gd day ahead... keep smiling...!
Thanks mam Really it's helpful for every aspirant in geography Your expectation is too much good I have no word for u mam... Thank u for this video Plzz make another part with hurry
Thanks, this is what i was searching , the big names in geography like baranwal and pariksha vani failed to provide these details. Ur teaching is amazing.but u forgot to mention nand prayaga , the merging point of alaknanda and nandakini river. Nand prayag comes between vishnu prayag and karna prayag.
Aapki "Delta" ki definition theck nhi Hai, Delta has nothing to do the shape it's actually "A river delta is a landform that forms from deposition of sediment that is carried by a river as the flow leaves its mouth and enters slower-moving or stagnant water. This occurs where a river enters an ocean, sea, estuary, lake, reservoir, or (more rarely) another river that cannot carry away the supplied sediment"
@Shubham Chauhan when river carrying deposits nears a sea/ocean it enters slow moving water and that distribution of deposits forms the delta, whereas if the river has no deposit and it directly meets the tidal mouth of the water body then it is known as estuary.
Ma'am firstly there's one more prayag involved and secondly Abhishek sir told that Vishnu ganga and dhauli ganga make the vishnu prayag and then it is referred as Alaknanda and remains Alaknanda upto dev prayag
Dere are two glacier near Badrinath they are satopadnath glacier and Milan glacier.. from that glacier two streams Vishnu Ganga and Dhauli Ganga are originated respectivily, and meet at 1st Prayag Named Vishnu prayag.. then after the two combined stream renamed a new name ALAKANANDA RIVER, which meets with Nandak river at 2nd prayag Nanda prayag.. with out change its name Alkananda, then it meets pinder ganga at karnaprayag.. then Alkananda meets mandakini river at Rudraprayag.. and Finaly it joins with Bhagirathi river at Dev prayag and form the GANGA..
maam, when bagirathi meets Alakananda, it changes its name to Ganga but before that Alakananda has already met two another rivers but didn"t change its name. why does it happen?
5 prayag are there :- Vishnuprayag Nandaprayag Karnaprayag Rudraprayag Devprayag Nandaprayag is there In between vishnuprayag and karnaprayag where Nandakini river meets alaknanda
One other confusion is there mem you said yamuna is the right bank tributary ,, "for -right- we can say it north" But i read in NCERT it is westernmost river of ganga. So plz try to root out one of mine confusion.
