    I recently witnessed a patient in PACU go into laryngospasm post ketamine administration by the CRNA. I never heard of ketamine causing laryngospasm. As you have mentioned it's very rare. Very informative video. Thanks for sharing.

      The only time I have ever seen this happen was in a Pediatric ED where it was given too rapidly. IV etomidate and succinylcholine was pushed, an LMA was placed, and the patient was bagged until the ketamine wore off (~15 minutes). Wasn’t a big deal because the situation was immediately dealt with and the peds ED attending in the room immediately recognized the issue.

      I take it that the saturation had not started dipping at that point..

    Very practical n knowledgeable, l really didn't know how to handle laryngospam or resp. Depression caused by sedatives...great discussion

    Dr, plz tell me if we can give every .5 ml intranasally spontaneously or we need to wait for a time interval to give next .5 ml in same nostril
