- Hey Guys! I love the holidays and thought it would be the perfect time to decorate my apartment for Christmas this year and bring you along this journey and into my cozy little home!
I used to grow up celebrating this holiday with my family back when my grandmother was alive (Allah Yerhama). She was Armenian Christian and loved this holiday so much so my mom kept the tradition growing up as kids but as we got older we drifted apart from the holiday. Although I am Muslim, I love to keep the tradition going and honor my grandma. Thank you so much for watching and hope you enjoyed this video. Please comment, like & subscribe for more content. You simply cannot celebrate Christmas as a Muslim no matter how much you tell yourself you’re just doing it for fun. Celebrating anything that isn’t Islamic is a big sin & it’s called Shirk because you’re combining another God with Allah SWT. May Allah guide you. @@maritsa1985 there is one big different that you worship jesus like a god but we consider jesus as a prophet who born without father and this is miracle from Allah, And celebrating Christmas is like denying that Allah is the one and only "astaghfiro allah".
We can't say it is just a celebration and not that big deal as muslim we are so attached to our religion, anything goes against our beliefs we don't do it, simple and plain

Yes it’s nice you can decorate but that’s a lot of things you bought a Christmas tree can do it and it will look festi and you could’ve used the rest of your money to donate it to the people of your town -back home (Aleppo) many are starving to death no electricity no gas no nothing . It’s good to have some balance ! Enjoy the holidays as it’s also the time of helping those in need !

Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, may God have mercy on him, said: Likewise, it is forbidden for Muslims to imitate the infidels by holding parties on these occasions, or exchanging gifts or distributing sweets or dishes of food, or taking time off work and the like, because the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said in his book: The Requirement of the Straight Path, Contrary to the Companions of Hell: “Imitating them in some of their festivals necessitates the joy of their hearts because of what they are following of falsehood, and perhaps that tempts them to take advantage of opportunities and humiliate the weak.” End of his words, may God have mercy on him.
And whoever does any of that is sinning, whether he did it out of courtesy, courtship, shyness, or any other reason. Because it is flattery about the religion of God, and it is one of the means of strengthening the souls of the unbelievers and making them proud of their religion. End quote from Fataawa Ibn Uthaymeen (3/44).

It is very wrong. celebrating such feasts is actually imitating non-Muslims. The companion of the Prophet ‘Abdullah Bin ‘Amar bin al-'Aas said: 'Whoever celebrates the Persian New Year's Day or their carnival and imitates them till his death he will be resurrected with them on the Day of Judgment. The Prophet, PBUH, said as reported in a sound Hadeeth: "Whoever imitates a people he is one of them"
Therefore, a Muslim is neither allowed to celebrate the Christmas Day nor is he allowed to congratulate them. Nor, does a Muslim celebrate any of their other feast days. A Muslim celebrates only the Islamic ‘Eed days.

I am Muslim but my grandma is Armenian Christian and I grew up as a kid celebrating the holiday for fun with my family. Just because I enjoy the holiday doesn’t make me less of a Muslim and you have no right to judge someone. Only ALLAH can judge. Thank you and love you 💗

Just like how clothes get trendy, this holiday is just a trend because it’s fun to decorate and stuff. I understand the history of it may seem messed up. But again not everything has to be an issue. I don't think this means your converting, your simply enjoying the season... my friends are all different races and religion and sharing each other's traditions etc. Brings acceptance and respect of others to this world. We should all respect each other's beliefs especially if they mean NO harm to others and are enjoyable with a positive intent. Decorating for let's say the new year season brings joy to people and joins us as a community. Also Jesus was a high prophet of Allah in the Muslim religion therefore your not betraying your God Allah in a negative light, your not denouncing your religion your enjoying decorations... enjoy and may many blessings come your way.

But as a muslim you should know that we shouldn't wish rahma upon disbelievers as God has made it clear in the Quran that whoever has committed shirk will not be forgiven ( unless they repented). {Surely Allah does not forgive that anything should be associated with Him, and forgives what is besides that to whomsoever He pleases; and whoever associates anything with Allah, he devises indeed a great sin.} (Quran 4: 48). Please visit Dubai and you see big beautiful Christmas trees at all the malls. Many of my muslim friends put up Christmas tree and celebrate Christmas with their Christians sisters and brothers and I love celebrating Eid with my muslim friends. ONE LOVE❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
