I have never understood people who speak about having "pure" blood. We are all human, take off our sking and no one would be able to tell the difference. Genes are so complicated that it is nearly impossible to predict how anyone will look. The variation of our kids' coloring made me curious, as I have mocha skin, brown hair and eyes, and my husband is fair, with blonde hair and green eyes. Our twins have my coloring, and my youngest has his dad. So I decided to have an ancestry DNA test a couple of years ago, I pretty much knew what was in my genes, but though it would be great to know exactly my ancestry. I was correct as in that I am (percentages in this order) Native American, Puerto Rican, African, with a bit of irish thrown in there (although I think everyone has a bit of Irish in them). My husband and his mom thought it would be fun to do one as well. When their test came back, it showed the majority of their ancestry was Northern European, England, Iceland, denmark, Norway, and a bit of Irish as well. Now, my MIL is 88, and I absolutely love her. She is the epitome of what all loving and caring MILs should be. Anyway, when they looked at their tests, my MIL said (her words not mine), well, isn't this boring, we are just Whitie McWhite! Thank goodness Christine has introduced exotic genes into our family. Otherwise, we would just be a family full of stale white bread. Lol! I love that woman.

Yes…we knew a very racist man who’s niece told him that their DNA was such a mixture that he didn’t believe it so she tested him and he was so mixed that now he stopped openly saying racial slurs!!!! 😝
It’s too late though, because he’s already offended so many people that imo, he’s headed towards being a very lonely and grumpy old man. Too sad! Oh well, we can only learn and evolve…old school has some big drawbacks too you know! 😮

I'm not surprised that she kicked her daughter out when she didn't support her and told her off like everyone else. Nor surprised that she's mad her husband is divorcing her so she's trying to retaliate by trying to take everything from him. Just shows that she's NEVER going to change and will probably have to leave town because of EVERYONE hating her plus always going to call her out.

When I was married I got stationed overseas while in the military. My dingbat oldest sister said if we decided to have kids they wouldn't be our skin color. I was lost with this but later in life my now ex liked to cheat. Maybe she knew something I didn't 😂

I'm not surprised that there's racism, I'm disappointed and angry when ppl attack ppl of other colours. When you ask a racist what's the difference between a coloured and white, they often don't have a reasonable answer.

Ya know it makes me wonder when racism will stop. When we all realize that defining ANYONE BY THEIR COLOR, instead of defining them as being of the HUMAN RACE. Once people let go of this I have to get my 15 mins of fame egocentric BS out of the way and focus on what is really important. We might all just get along better just my personal opinion. have a good day

@@margaretgarlando7911 Unfortunately, the hate from racism will spread to religion, gender, and/or other differences.
Humanity, just other social animals, don't like differences in their species.
And no amount of intelligence will stop it, only education and peace.

Wow.. glad I did it in a fast and quiet way - even after ten years..
We gave in and went to visit.. but, not even ten hours after we left she was on FB complaining about the immigration situation.. saying we should be feeding the Americans kids only and always first - I called her out on the Post and was surprised when most of her.. friends, on line.. sided with me and said she was being racist..
Been five years now and we have not been in any contact with ANYONE from that side of the family!
Ps: are baby is graduating and he is a outspoken and smart young man!
    Very proud we had
" such a mixed race child"
    Regret nothing!

For those who don't listen Op was on a business trip when she met her future husband. She wasn't in the country by her own choice. It's not funny if your job sets you up to possibly be a set up for trafficking. I personally hope you are a person that works for a company like that, then you can laugh at your situation when they do it to you. Just my personal perspective.😊 have a great and safe day.

That's what I was thinking. I don't understand why she didn't call her job to find out the name of the car service. It's hard to believe that this story is true because I don't know of any people traveling for business who don't know where they are staying or the the name of their hotel. Most people receive an email with their itinerary or are given a printed out itinerary along with their plain or train ticket.

I'll never understand purists and racists. How can anyone focus so much on age in the modern age? Especially considering that at least 85% of families worldwide are multiethnic anyway. Almost nobody is "pure blooded" anything so who cares who your relatives want to marry. It literally doesn't make any difference. I guarantee you that if you search down your family line to lets say the past 400 years or so 9 out of 10 people will find at least 4 to 7 different ethnicities in your family Tree. It's like my Grandpa says the only thing that really matters is how they treat others and how they conduct themselves in their day to day life and everything else is inconsequential to who they are as a person.

In my life experience, white people are not the only racist. Why can't people understand that we are all one race. The human race. We just have different cultures.
Believe it or not I am pure white according to DNA test. I married a Hispanic.
