WOW, This was a satisfying video to watch... we all knew you were capable, and the car are small things were just hard steps along the way! It was fantastic to watch you grow with the s2000 if you keep it that would be amazing, but like all journeys they don't last forever and that's what makes them special.. keep pushing and become the best, it's in you. but you have to want it more than the pain!
The fruits of hard work, and perseverance. The spirit of Jimmy Diggs shall live on in you(Thanks to your Jamaican father for blessing you with the name)
@@JackieDing86 we were. Few things got damaged/lost but easily replaceable. I'm not surprised if someone did get hurt. It was crazy. We had a long delay afterwards due to debris on track. Congrats on P2 by the way! :)
I was camping on the paddock this year with my friend who entered his silver honda accord into time attack competition. It was my first gridlife event and I gotta say it was fricking awesome. That said, I really wouldn't want to be camping in the general admission area, it was a mess over there.
How your rear? have you considered changing to lower rate springs? Your car is really tail happy even in high speed corners. Have you maxed your wings angle of attack?
sutiikotaa car actually feels good on exit. It’s a result of me jumping on the throttle a little too eager at times. Still driving it like it has 225 whp when now it has 450 lol. Adding more rear wing will ruin the aero balance, and if I can step on full throttle earlier, then the faster I will be.
Nice job Jackie, CONGRATS!!! Watching your vids it looks like the car is over steering or the rear end is breaking loose too much. Having to saw back and forth on the steering is costing you time.
Ricky Patel GoPro hat clip right on the top of the visor, then shut close. Two drawbacks: 1: it’s really hot in summer; 2: it’s directly in your line of sight (think F1 Halo) so you have to adjust and see past it. I’ve done it for about 3 years and it’s natural for me now ha
These are not the directional rotors. The directionals, while having better cooling, are more expensive and slightly heavier. Considering I cracked these rotors after 11 months, I’ll keep using them!
Have you changed your front sway bar? I have a s/c S2k as well, put a stiffer front sway bar and have lots of rear traction, but front end pushes a lot now.
@@JackieDing86 see mine doesn't rotate like that anymore, I also have the Eibach adj Front swaybar only. Which setting do you have it on? Did you do rear sway bar as well?
@@JackieDing86 I see that it's vented, I also see that there is a lot of turbulence being shed by the tire and traveling along the side skirt area. Cleaning that up will help aero a lot, especially under floor aero, which is very efficient. The GT3 RS vents the wheel well over the tire for this reason, instead of behind the tire, and they use vents so that the airflow is "cleaner" than if it's just a cutout.
We are not allowed to run the AR1s since we are limited to 200tw or above. The NS2R is good, breaks away smoothly near the limit and is nowhere near as edgy as the A052 when at the limit, although A052 will still have a performance advantage.
Can’t post consistently because it’s incredibly difficult/expensive to produce these videos. I wish I could produce these at home, without having to pay for fuel, hotel, ticket, tires, brakes, you name it ha. Don’t want to dilute the channel with sub-par clickbait content either.
What are your thoughts on Evos? I am thinking of going to a 9 because my Miata is so fucking slow it's so annoying lmao I am concerned the pure driving experience will be lost but I don't know haha. Also I like you even more now because you don't like Subarus haha
Andy is a solid dude, guy has energy for days. I'm pretty sure he never actually sleeps.
He over slept and missed his warm-up runs in his last gridlife video (the one where is truck and rear wing broke)
Congrats Jackie! We’re all proud of you! Keep fighting bud!
Huge Congrats Jackie ! Keep that S2K she's done you proud !
Sweet driving mate. Nice credit music from MCM at the end too!
I see the fire in your eyes, never give up on your dreams and always be happy. 👍
Really enjoying your style.
Your channel is helping me as a amature racer to see things I am doing wrong and helping me along.
Thank you so much.

Loved the way you drive the S2K man. As we all know s2k is a pure driver car.
Jackie be tearing up the trackkkk, you’ll get that first place finish you deserve real quick
Finally this bad boy has been reliable for you!! Congrats on the podium man!!!
Glad to see the smile. Send on!
Congrats bro! been following you every step of the way the car and you has huge potential just one step at a time!
Congrats Jackie!! Great to see you back on the podium 💪💪
Great job Jackie! Shout outs from New Zealand!
Way to go! Looking smooth, bud!
The videos are getting better and better Jackie! The King of no lift hahaha
awesome job man glad to see the car being more reliable and consistent, looking forward to your next event!
Congrads Jackie. You got the gremlins sorted and gave em hell!! 🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂
Congrats Jackie, hard work pays off 👍 Can’t wait for more!
Heck yeah! Been waiting for this video!

Great job Jackie!
That picture was dope!!
I agree
Congrats bud. Badass driving as usual.
Awesome dude, congrats !!!
Awesome foot work!!!
Congratulations JD86!
I was at MidOhio that weekend with NASA and that storm DESTROYED our campsite! Glad you guys made it through unscathed haha
Hope you guys are okay! Heard someone got hurt from it and a couple cars got damaged, so definitely lucky on my part

Nice T-shirt Jackie!!!! 😁
I'm just learning how to heel and toe. Man yours is on point.
Sick driving brotha. Proper driving!
Awesome to watch you progress. Wonder what you will be driving in like 5years =]
I sure wonder too. Maybe a tad bit toned down haha
Glad i ran into this channel :D
Good job, keep digging.
your driving becomes smoother and smoother! good stuff
Still got room to improve!!

@@JackieDing86 hmm.. but the oversteer shouldn't be that hard. Hows your floor? Stock? What kind of tyrepressures are you running?
76 mph to hug starts to drift and understeer. Sweet spot for not going off in turn

That’s pretty quick

Come to Laguna seca one day amazing Track
great driving man sucks about the traffic but its part of the game.
Sure is, we’ll come back next time
clutch sounds happy now

You can maybe move the s2k to gltc when the other car is ready
told you. congrats
Jackie, how are the current tires, what looks like Potenza RE71R compared to the Yokohama A052?
You passed Sasha's Anis Z33 @14:24. Was he on a cool down lap?
Yup
What shift light is that? Also what a great video
It’s an Ecliptech
Jackie man what do you do for work ? I work full time and still can’t get enough money to finish my car
Hey bro can you tell you where is that race track
Would it be possible to get that bumper ? Or did they exclusively made that front bumper for you ??
What do you mean by power cut? What happens?
are those the directional vane rotors or the post vane rotors?
These are not the directional rotors. The directionals, while having better cooling, are more expensive and slightly heavier. Considering I cracked these rotors after 11 months, I’ll keep using them!
Have you changed your front sway bar? I have a s/c S2k as well, put a stiffer front sway bar and have lots of rear traction, but front end pushes a lot now.
I have Eibach’s adjustable sway bars on the car. There is sometimes a bit of a push, the exit oversteer is just from me getting on power however ha
@@JackieDing86 see mine doesn't rotate like that anymore, I also have the Eibach adj Front swaybar only. Which setting do you have it on? Did you do rear sway bar as well?
I have front bar on stiff, rear bar on soft
@@JackieDing86 Thanks, I'm going to play around with mine to get some of that oversteer back.
Still 2 seconds left with some aero tweaks! .5 second in properly venting the front wheel wells. Front rotors crack no matter what, unless you go BBK.
Aero, done. Front wheel well is vented with a J’s fender, and I already have Stoptech C43 BBK

hey jackie what wheels were you running in this video?
We are running the Konig Hypergram, 18x10.5 +25
Yo jackie did you listen to the new Tyler album?
Do you rate the Nankangs as well as the A052's you had previously? Also can you run AR1 in this class? Love this channel bro you are fearless!

Exhaust model ?
Greddy GPP RS RACE
Any advice for newbies wanting to get involved with grid life/ hpde? Great video as usual. To bad we didn't get to see Fiona drive ☹️ 😞
Was a shame not to have much of Fiona’s action, she got sick and didn’t feel well. Next time!
For advice, simply come out, start in beginner, and don’t be afraid to ask questions!
Hi Jackie! :D
Love the videos bruh, too bad you're not posting consistently :/ Love watching Fiona and her Pika2k too :D

Jackie Ding I understand, not saying that you don’t want. It’s just too bad it’s an expensive sport 😅 just keep it up!
You should use methanol injection it will help with intake air temperature
As great as that is, it’s not allowed by our rules
Congrats on the podium Jackie! Glad you had a great weekend - @austin.nef_
S2k to GLTC spec?
I WISH. But running 2 programs side by side will be mentally, physically, and financially exhausting.

TTRorDIE! :)
Why do you hate subarus?
It’s a joke ha. They’re ridiculously capable and because my Rival Dewey is a Subaru guy ha
can you use a sequential in street mod?
Nope
New favorite Fiona phrase "understeers like a pig" brahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah #pikachu pig
Jimmy Diggs!!!! Lmao
