Nice car never had a MK1 only MK2 pre-facelift 2.3 GL which was lovely but would love a MK1. My dad had a Early 1.7 v4 Consul L which was quite reliable given the reputation of the V4 engines
Fantastic looking car,I owned two a 3ltr and 2ltr beautiful to drive and was very often asked where Regan was,got to admit watching the TV series which was a real first action packed hour program for it's time did influence me to buy the cars.

always loved the look of these cars, very handsome motor. i'd have one in a heartbeat if one was available, and could afford .. lovely car.
