You can play Time Attack mode in consumer version only. Time counter exists instead of life stock in this mode. In order to survive in this mode, you need to secure a plenty of time, otherwise it will be Game over when the timer becomes "0:00". I added to explanation of Time Attack mode at the beginning of this video, so please watch them first.

Is the "reload faster if your gun is not empty" a PS3 thing? Because I tried on the PC version of HOD3 but my reload speed stays the same regardless of it being empty or not

I haven’t played PC version of HOD3, but the fast reload only applies to PS3 one, I guess. In PC version, I think it’s better to fire all 6 bullets in a row because it doesn’t matter whether you reload remaining one bullet, or not.
