I could never recommend a knife that fast. I have lots of jokers but man, this thing needs real comprehensive test in the field. Carving, everyday task.
I appreciate the small life saving tokens packaged with the knife for sure. But I’m curious about the wood handle & humidity…. Walnut is a excellent option, but how long would you say it would last without splittin? Love the blades ability though. Impressive.
If you can only have one knife in a survival situation, this is the one. I take mine everywhere. 😊❤just try not to get the one with the wood handle unless you just prefer the wood handle. 😊😊
@@LookAtTheTrees The slow overview of the knife and close ups are helpful. If you have any thoughts on the 6.5" vs. the 5.0", please share and also, have you sliced any veggies with it?
@@LookAtTheTrees Thanks. Yeah, these knives look awesome. Some of us have too many of these things as is the way with knives generally and bushcraft knives in particular, but may have to make room for this one. Such a classic look, clean lines, and EVERY review of this knife is absolutely positive. Thanks again!
Enjoyed the sound track
Love gramps knife 💯🤘
Thanks me too it usually takes it's place on my shelf
@@LookAtTheTrees I keep an old one in my purse. It’s a diamond and slender, but I keep it sharp

I would say it was dried and stabilized wood so it should last a very long time without smacking it off a rock or something
@@LookAtTheTrees nice
I have the Lynx and the Camparo and the 6. 5 great knives at a great price👍
I've been looking at the lynx and the camparo and I have a Montanero on the way for review

LOL. Trees getting high off that leather sheath. Does it have like a kydex latch inside of the leather sheath?
It's got something in there I think it is plastic
I'm not familiar with that blade steel. 🤔
From what I gathered it's somewhere between VG 10 and 440C I believe
It is 440c from Böhler
Nomad 6.5 or ESEE 6?
I think I would have to go with the Nomad that convex grind is wicked
