Just received my Christmas book, it's beautiful! I've made lots of the patterns before using the TH-cam videos, looking forward to having them all easily accessible on my bookshelf. Also, looking forward to coming to a December show with you to see it all in person.
Hi Fiona ☺️ I know I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again! It was so lovely to meet you at the knitting and stitching show and I don’t mind at all with you showing my photo, I’m flattered 🥰 I agree with what you said that your tree display sold out your cosy Christmas book, that’s the main reason I bought it! I saw the tree and was like ‘wow!’ 🤩 I plan to go again next year (with my step mum) and will definitely come to your stall! I’m planning to go to a yarn show earlier on next year which is local to me and that’s the ‘east Anglian yarn festival (March 2025).. Sam x
The pleasure was all mine meeting you! I'm so pleased that the tree did the trick as it was I couldn't have been prouder to have all those makes on there. I tried to get a stand at the EA yarn festival but wasn't successful for 2025. I might go along and check it out as it's not a million miles away.
Congratulations on everything and thanks for sharing your experiences and being able to sell out your books and having such a nice display!! :) I own a Lucent fork and have used it to make chording but I would love to know why/how the vikings used it and the information behind that. I actually have done alot of research concerning the history of food, clothing and shelter in Iceland and Greenland. It was great to see Gary and that I helped in a little fashion by helping with the pattern testing of Gary while he was at the crochet retreat. Honestly, if you ever want to make a fairy tale book it could be the Adventures of Gary the gingerbread amigurumi, lol... ;)The festival sounded like it would have been lovely to goto. I would love to revisit the UK hopefully soon. I am planning to goto the NC Fiberfest in March 2025, my third year attending and I am planning to goto a crochet retreat with Tiffany Hansen again next year at the end of May 2025.
Thank you for testing Gary for me! I love the sound of what you have planned for next year - maybe add a trip to London in for October! I will get the details of the uses of that type of cord to share with you soon :)
Congratulations! 🎉
Lovely video, Fiona. You put so much effort and thought into the show, it’s no wonder you were successful. Congratulations!
Thank you Karen :)
I'm so glad you're going to get your hooks back!
Not as pleased as I was - I only noticed last weekend when I needed my favourite 5mm 🙄
