I don't think they are saying military guy that his moving is the issue, cuz it's easier. You can't have a proper family life with a military guy. He is not there. He will probably find someone who is traumatized enough to put up with this shit or just be a bachelor :D What's the career anyways? Instead of becoming a Ceo you become dead :D
With the talked for 8 years got stood up person, I don't think the issue is she wants a relationship. I don't think "leave me alone because I want a relationship and you don't" is her thought process. I think she's turned off by him treating her so disrespectfully. She might not want a relationship but she definitely doesn't want to be stood up in Jersey City. There's casual fun and then there's getting stood up in Jersey City which is not fun. I think I'd just go with the block, he blocked her I'd block him back and move on (easier said than done after 8 years). If I had to say something as her I'd say "That was really rude. I'm turned off. I don't want to do this anymore." And I wouldn't entertain him trying to "explain himself" or anything like that. Also there is a lesson here that unfortunately this situation was red flag-ish. I don't know why but for some reason every time I've seen a guy have this "casual" thing where he talks to a girl for awhile and maybe it's on and off and then suddenly they sort of try to go on a trip together, it never goes well. I don't know why but I always see the guy acting like a jerk in the end and the girl has this really not fun experience when maybe she was at least kind of on board with "casual fun." I just don't think "I want a relationship, you don't" is the point. I think "maybe I was on board with casual fun but this is not fun and as a self-respecting person I can't spend time with someone who treats me so disrespectfully" is the point.
Totally unrelated...but related..why is it pronounced "sell-ticks" and not "kell-ticks"? Something I've always wondered. Signed, Not Sporty Spice Betch
