It’s all very transparent. Most of the information on the property is compulsory early made available by law And it’s very rare that you need a lawyer involved. All real estate agents are licensed and must take legal courses etc. to maintain a license. Also, the piece around the inspection… if you’re getting a loan, the inspection is mandated by the bank in the United States because they don’t want to hold the mortgage on a property that has issues. So if an inspection reveals problems, the American buyer is also going to expect that we can negotiate to reduce the price.
