I have a 2003 Z71 Tahoe that I am currently installing an a2 bumper on to facilitate using a Rhino lift. I am getting older and have a heart condition that sucks all the umph out of me. I have a leveling kit in the Tahoe running 33" tall Cooper S/T Maxx tires. The spare is in the truck at this time, taking up needed seat and cargo space. The bumper is already cut down to 73" from the 85" stock length. I will have to modify the mounting bracket by shortening it on the right side as mounted and re-drilling the bolt holes taking it more to the right to clear the liftgate. The rim plate will be re-drilled and studded for the 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern. It takes too much energy to man handle the spare in and out of the truck. I'm looking at the Rhino as a handicap person's version to still to attempt to enjoy the outdoors and the wilderness. I don't have one yet, but I'm working on it. This video has helped a lot in the visual imagineering department. Thanks.

Helpful video, thanks. What type of bolts did you use for the attachment to the bumper? And did you use locknuts or regular nuts?
