This video explains why our plates say "Friendly Manitoba"! Helping a novice builder by sharing ideas and teaching the skill is what this hobby is all about. Some shops would charge thousands or not even give you the time of day. Halfass Customs is close enough for me to smell the rust, sweat and tears of all of these builds and I can't wait to get out there one day soon. Anyone else see the grin on Trevor's face when they set that axle in place? Great content!

Love it when you throw something together from parts that are laying around. You and Jonathan W are both good at doing that. Keep the vids coming, loving it.

Yeah its easy to throw money at it and build with new parts. Not true hotrods old school was build with what you got or make it work.

Makin' something from nothing; I like the way this is going, but more importantly, time with friends. Priceless.

Nothing better than building something out of parts. Relaxing. Better than listening or watching crap on TV. Put some music on and build something. Love your channel.

I think building is much more enjoyable then watching someone build ,after saying that it’s still educational and entertaining to watch you build !

You dont cease to amaze me. I spent too much of my life fixing daily drivers, still do. Other peoples junk. I get a few classics to work on,i enjoy that. Im growing to dislike the day to day fix everybody else’s problems.
What you do, i wanted to do 30 years ago. Didnt start dabbling until 16 months ago. And its way more satisfying.
I know why you do it.

Like watching old school on how to build with not much choice building materials on hand but use what you got. I admire the vision you can see with nothing and a little later I can see the what a neat coupe this will be. Hope your builder friends stay and help with this buddy project. My buddies would help for a while on the build then drop out mid stream. A++++ video

I would love to come up there and hang with you guys. I looks like my uncle's shop when I was growing up he had a body shop and they were always putting out some kind of really nice car. I remeber a 62 buick wild cat, a 67 dodge dart swinger, a 65 baracuda, 68 chevelle and dozens of first gen camaro's One uncle had a 65 C-10 my dad had a 66 C-10 My other uncle had a 54 3100. You are into a little different cars but all the work and everyone stopping by was just great. I miss those days so bad. All of them are gone now but I am still working on my 57 pontiac and 77 C-30 and Dad's old 66 C-10. Keep building please I love what your doing.

Actually I liked the look of it with the full doors and the full back metal in place. When the rear doors were welded in place you had a full size coupe. But when Trevor cut it into a metal jigsaw puzzle and you guys put it back together, I could see your vision. It's going to look good when you're finished, of that I have no doubt. You, sir, are a master fabricator and I really like all your builds, especially the delivery van. I keep seeing that parked outside my apartment, painted in full Pinetree camo and calling me to head deep in the bush for a few days. Can't help it, that sweetheart stole my heart, it would be a perfect overlander. And, yes, I have a habit of believing my vehicles have a personality and a soul.

*- My sensibilities wants to see a 6+ inch Lengthened six window salon body {+2in. between door jam and 4+inch added aft of rear door window} so the passengers in the back can stretch their legs in a fore-to-aft rake {3-" chop front up to 2-" chop rear}, with the same rear quarter panels and rear window panel already chosen, all with tall enough tires to let the feel look right and balanced; per the largest block engine the frame will handle well.*
*- Better ride. More stylish. Unusual/rare. Smooth/sleek, but 'steam-punkish', too!*
