Hello sir , i applied i-765 C(8) initial pending asylum. I mailed the documents to lockbox in dallas and then they will transfer my case to texas service center where all asylum work permits are processed. Its been 40 days no i-765 receipt yet. I dont have tracking number of usps when i mailed my documents. Can i email lockbox or texas service center and ask by giving them my A-number, Date of birth , name and form type and my address if they can locate my ead application. Or do i go ahead file it online ( Again but this time online not my mail) and then in online filing add a note i didnt receive my receipt. Hello my name is Guy stephane kouassi . I’ve been an Asap member since 2021 . I applied for an initial EAD card in 2021 for free and I got approved and received my card without paying any fees . Hello sir , i applied i-765 C(8) initial pending asylum. I mailed the documents to lockbox in dallas and then they will transfer my case to texas service center where all asylum work permits are processed. Its been 40 days no i-765 receipt yet. Can i email lockbox or texas service center and ask by giving them my A-number, Date of birth , name and form type and my address if they can locate my ead application. Or do i go ahead file it online ( Again but this time online not my mail) and then in online filing add a note i didnt receive my receipt. There will again be no filing fee because you can mark that it is for your initial work permit (Employment Authorization Document) as an asylum seeker. It would probably be fastest for them to just process a new online application rather than requesting them to locate your old one and merge them.
