Rayner, I’ve listened / watched quite a few interviews with PB. Yours is by far the best. Rather than overlay and embed your experience into Peter’s you just asked good questions. This meant the information drawn out was much deeper and more informative. Congrats. To other financial market podcasters / UTs - watch and learn. As a listener, I don’t want to hear about you for the 20th time.
It's funny to me because, my life story from what Mr Brandt said is very similar to what he described. I'm 7 years younger, and my early years were just like his. Same family history, young kid delivering the San Francisco paper at 4am, to odd ball jobs. We deviated at 18. I became a welder in construction, and oilfield pipeline. My 1 regret was not getting involved in trading at a much younger age. I've still been involved in stock market for about 7 years now, give or take. After a period of school of hard knocks, I've resolved myself to trading futures only. My greatest respect to you sir. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
There is more education now, than ever before. You can learn anything on youtube. You just have to be aware of what you are watching. Are you benefiting from what you are watching? If not, you are betting off going for a walk.
"The fear of being wrong in a trade is a crippling condition for a trader. . . . . (A percentage of people) succeeded because somehow they have the mental and emotional constitution to persevere." -- Peter Brandt
Thank you Rayner
