Hey Black, when bleeding mine I had to jack the front of my car up on ramps. While not bmw recommended it made life much easier. Just a trick if things get hairy again.
Check the pressure range on your radiator cap I think it would be around 15-18 psi if I remember correctly. Vacuum bleeding is the best trick to bleed cooling system on theses cars I have a snap on kit I use for work (Acura Tech) works great on other models tools just need the right adapter for coolant reservoir. Cheers from MD got a turbo s50 in my e30 keep going my guy.
Yeah the plan was to go with a full vacuum bleed but we didn't see any issues starting out so we let it run and so far it seems like everything is fixed on its own
Haha last week I let my M42 running for a while and it started to get very hot. I shut down the engine, check the coolant and there was almost nothing left😅 I teally need to get that thing too, because the question now is, where did the coolant go😅😂
Nothing wrong with having your work checked 👍 I love how it sounds

Thank you for your videos.
From my understanding the overflow only flows, if the radiator cap releases pressure and allows coolant to bypass.
