Quick note that I think Raffine and the Greaves are a bit of a nonbo as Raffine gives target attacking creature the connive trigger and Greaves means you can't target it
Yeah I’m a Raffine player and right away when they did that I got triggered
Edit:
That means protection cards like Sword of Truth and Justice prefect from Raffine’s ability so make sure to equip protections accordingly
You’ll need other equipment that gives Hexproof and/or Hast
Ex. Swiftfoot Boots, Mask of Avacyn, Lavaspur Boots, Haunted Cloak, Winged Boots, Champion’s Helm those are what I can think of right now
It's a bit of a nonbo for sure. I think you still run Greaves in the deck, but you really need to remember how shroud works if you're running Greaves...especially if your commander is a nonbo with it. Sort of frustrating to watch TBH.
Andrew I will love you forever for the Greasefang list.
Working on it!
It would have been cool to see the Necromantic Selection nab a commander since both Pramikon and Edgar were on board when it resolved.
I don't think you can with it, since they always have the option of putting them to the command zone?
@@MTGMuddstah Necromantic Selection has to fully resolve first before they can do the replacement effect into the command zone.
@@MTGMuddstah Since returning from the graveyard or exile to the command zone has been changed to a SBA, it isn't checked until a spell or ability fully resolves. So you are now able to steal commanders with spells like Necromantic Selection.
New SL Greasefang art shown earlier today makes me really appreciate how cute its neon showcase is. At risk of sounding like a broken record, it's always nice seeing pleasant art choices, like Max's gorgeous, matched unstable basics (in stunning contrast to his motliest of motley cast of creatures)
Her Neon Variant art isn't even accurate to how she looks lol. She's a nasty rat biker gang boss
Its hard to see Edgar and not have warning sirens going off in my head the entire game.
All the more reason I play Olivia instead for Vampire purposes(both as a Rakdos and a Mardu Deck now thanks to Thunder Junction)
I played greasfang recently eith someone who didn't know much of the 40k cards and he was blown away by how good they are. Thunderhawk gunship and reaver titan are my favorites. The knight is really good to loop in and out tof the graveyard o just burn people out if they have a lot of pillowfort.
The only time in history that a Pramikon has hit the table and said "the direction that allows Edgar to attack me"
I know the board got wiped by day of judgement, but wouldn't the changeling cast trigger markov's eminence ability? Or does it only count as every creature type when it ETBs?
I think Raffine could not target himself due to the lightning greaves giving shroud
I love that Edgar deck, it completely subverted my expectations.
This game made me want to build grease dang it looks like a ton of fun, and a unique “black” spin on Azorious vehicles
Why did a dog get played in a Edgar... wait... and a sliver? Wtf.
Yeah dude did you not know SlivDogs is the new Edgar meta deck?
He had a bunch of shapeshift tribal cards
Because it's a changeling deck
@@sammysammyson Ew.
@@Zeromus5555 I think tribal tribal is the only interesting form of a dedicated tribal deck. Tribal is such a boring archetype though.
I have successfully swept a table with angel of serenity playing the SL precon angel deck. It felt incredible but dirty killing all 3 opponents that way.
Would love to see the Greasefang list! :)
from a fan and former Pioneer one-trick, Greasefang is canonically a lady nezumi
Interesting to see an Edgar deck with no vampires in the other 99
9:08 Wait... why didn' Raffine's Silencer kill anything? The Nameless Inversion gave it +3/-3, so it shouldve died as a 4/-2, allowing it to give another creature -4/-4.
Don't know if it's rules correct or not, but aside from an obviously correct answer of "missed beneficial trigger", I can't help but be reminded of how infect (or any ≥toughness -1/-1 counters all at once) interact w modular.
Lets go!
Greasefang decklist pleaseeeeee
Tomer Pun!!!
Pramakon looks super fun
Looks like the Angel of Destiny got misplayed a bit. Both players are supposed to gain the life when it hits. You may have survived that last attack from Edgar if you'd had 4 more life...
That would be incorrect. The Angel of destiny still deals damage. So it deals 4 and then both players gain 4. As his life total didnt change there was no misplay.
Formally requesting that Greesefang list. Can't tease a community with this many games and no list, you fiend.
Hehehehehehehehehehe
You literally always play the most annoying decks hoping you lose most games before it even starts
What is annoying about Greasefang?
Again we can't evaluate the general decklists, is this just a showcase of you trying to show off what you play, without telling anyone?
I'm INTERESTED in your decks and content. But I am *not* interested in being unable to see what the list is and evaluate it myself.
I've not shared a much more effective indominus setup (same theme) then yours for this very reason, and its frustrating watching the video to see decks just fall apart or not function. Sometimes its clear by the list why, which makes me less interested in watching that person play at all. If they can't figure out basic land distribution and interaction, its not going to be fun games regardless.
Incredible. The entitlement is off the charts. Being able to see someone’s deck list is a privilege they share should they be willing to. Not simply because a faceless commentator requires it to enjoy the channel. Should you not enjoy decks that aren’t full of synergy every turn, then I would recommend a different channel or CEDH.
