The colors on your cards are so lovely. I"m telling you here in Florida if we had moths that looked like that we wouldn't be swatting them out of the way. I LOVE this set. Excellent coloring.
Wasn't sure about the moths when I first saw then; now I love them thanks to your ideas. I also never would have considered using a cover plate die to cut my stenciled images
Your cards are absolutely stunning. I love the stencil flower cut with the daisy plate. I could watch you for hours! I love all your cards, so unique!❤❤❤❤❤❤
So many beautiful cards! You did a great job on all of them! I love the metallic butterflies on the "hello there" card! And the honeycomb die cut directly onto the flowers on the "hugs" card is so creative! They're all really beautiful! ❤❤❤
You chose well, Charlene: both the coverplate die and the moths are amongst my favourites, too. Love the idea of cutting a background with the coverplate. Thank you for the inspiration! Kind regards from Germany, Nicola
I really love your cards, and thought your card where you die cut into the stenciled panel was beautiful. I would not have thought to do that, so this has given me some great ideas.
Charlene your cards are absolutely gorgeous. The cover plate just adds finnese to the cards as well. While here how do you clean your mini blending brushes. I have recently purchased some and am not quite sure what to do. Thanks for your fabulous video. Yvonne
Thank you! For my mini blending brushes I have one for each color family (red, orange, yellow, etc.). After I am done with a project I spray one spray of water on a paper towel folded in half, rub the brush on the wet part until the color dissipates, and then rub the brush on the dry part of the towel. I spray the water pretty close to the towel so that half of the folded towel is wet and the other half is dry. Hopefully that makes sense! I use the same towel for whatever brushes I was using. It takes less than a minute all together. 🙂
Your moth's are gorgeous! (I don't usually love moths, but these are great). I just love your background with the cover die and pretty glitter strip.I really like how you cut your stenciled card with the cover die- great technique!
You are so freaking creative! Love how you created the moths with acetate and glitter card stock. Never thought to try that!! Also the shading you did on the stenciled flowers is awesome and looks fantastic with a partial cover die and glitter strip. What really blew my mind is when you stenciled the flowers and then cut them with the entire cover plate....looks so cool! Thanks for all the great inspiration...definitely going to try these with supplies I already have, but I am going to have to purchase that stencil set along with the embossing folder.
So many great ideas in this video! I tend to shy away from acetate (except for shaker cards) but you've inspired me (once again)... this time to play with some acetate and heat embossing! I like your white gel pen idea, too. I like sparkle pens, too (like you did on the moths and flower) because it adds that little special touch. All three cards are lovely.
Never seen such beautiful moths
