The rink is expected to be ready by mid-November for thousands to make holiday memories underneath the Morrison Bridge again this year.

As some one who works downtown and drives Naito multiple times a day I love watching the rink! It means downtown Portland is coming back! Plus it's so goddang cute to see everyone making memories! This is a great Portland tradition that I hope carries on for years.

Tiny artificial rink full of people that can't ice skate, what could go wrong? This isn't necessary in Canada, just take a garden hose to the backyard, let 'er rip, and shazam, instant rink, real ice.

Such a weird contrast of coverage of boarded up businesses and.. this. It's like trying to shake some sprinkles over a bowel movement that is Portland. Public market, MLB, and ice skating. Yeah, that's going to boost people's image of the cooked city.
