@SBI PO aspirant's life If you just use probability instead of blindly supporting any decision, that would make more sense. Now because of this the no. Of doctors being produced per year will decrease by a good amount, let's say from 100, the no. Will decrease to 50-60. And in that process, eventually the no. Of "GOOD DOCTORS" would also decrease because of less people even making it in the first place. The current NEET PG was not a piece of cake that the MCI had to bring this. It doesn't make any sense. Even before this, qualifying for NEET PG was a big task, but now even more deserving doctors will be cut off. Also because of the pattern.

People are all asking why they had to make it even more harder? I have a better question. The exams have become tougher.. but have the prize (neet pg seat/ branch/residency) have gotten any better? No. Same /worse working conditions, ever increasing violence, ever increasing toxicity, ever increasing divide amongst medicos..and added to it saturation in metros in almost all specialities.. NMC needs to provide a better incentive (a good why) for people to go through this humongous hurdles or else doctors will realise their worth and look for better shores.. If Indian licensing exams are coming to at par with US, then residency too needs to improve in India.

Indian education and the competitive exams is a scam ....when students are in school they are dumped with 7 subjects the highest in any education system as main subjects in a competely theory based privatised extremely expensive education ...when people are in 11 and 12 the eligibility for admission is not their main boards only but both and 1000s of money is looted in name of separate exam for various colleges for admission exams When you do MBBS same happens again and not for free but added money loot in another exam When Worldclass universities are asking students to study 1 thing in depth , our country where educated % and finally educated working professionals are lowest in comparison to a developed nation be it vietnam, japan , australia , even china , UK and US ...the focus is only asking students to be in atleast 2-3boats at a given time with high pressure and help govt in education.loot biggest scam ....sad reality

I think this sorts out those students who don't have required knowledge to be a competent doctor but would have passed anyway in University exams...So one may find it tough to pass the Next exams but atleast we are sure of getting competent doctors.

great now we have to work extra hard to face the same working conditions and salary. why though? if India's getting it's entrance as tough as the us, let's say, i dont think we can quickly or even slowly say India's residency is as good as it is in the us😂 i'm most probably just switching career. it's just not worth it to do residency in india anymore.

Bahar wale Step 2 ka exam kaha dege ?? Yar NEET PG hi sahi tha 1 exam Rank banti thi usse PG ki seat milti thi..! Rank se satisfied nhi ho toh phir se de do apna favourite branch lene ke liye..! Yaha ek CBT based MCQ paper with negative marking me 50% in each subject me lana hai…! Mtlb kya hai bhai 😵😵
I think this sorts out those students who don't have required knowledge to be a competent doctor but would have passed anyway in University exams...So one may find it tough to pass the Next exams but atleast we are sure of getting competent doctors.
