With the subs mounted, the lower screws are gonna want to pull out due to the motor weight. You should add at least a second layer of wood around the inside edge. Give the lower screw threads some extra wood to grab. You could glue some scraps in and then trim along the speaker hole opening to get it flush.
Not joe lol! I have that same jigsaw but silver or maybe the finish is just gone but i still use it! Im 45 years old and it was my dad’s has to be at least 30 years old im guessing. It has One speed, on 😂
I think you should’ve double layered everything made the box more sturdy not so flexible put some wood glue in between layers inch and a quarter nails on three-quarter ply speakers might be too heavy looks nice though like it
@@CarAudioEnthusiasts I’ve had my eye on them for a minute I just never pulled the trigger on them because I don’t know to much about them but after watching your video of the unboxing
I think you're going to regret not going with 6 15's. You already had 4 12's at 452ci and now you'll be at 706ci which is only 1.5x what you had. Lot of work for such a little gain.
@@GMTPF800 im sorry about your brother man, I don't want to Sully his memory by arguing about it. I am who I am, and Ill do what I do until I too am dust. that's my choice. My go to place for tools that I'm gonna barely use every now and then is the pawn shops. 👍

Why not drill re leaf holes and cut it like a pizza that way you not having to constantly curving the jig saw . 🧐😉🫡
Curving the jigsaw on such a large radius is not an issue at all. You can cut a three inch hole with a jigsaw.
