Greetings. There are many churches on this island and religion is very developed here, for those who care. Those who do not believe in God can find an absolutely beautiful home here. No one is forcing anyone to do anything here. Madeira is not a radical place of religion or cult. There is a place for everyone. If you are not interested in religion or God, then you will live here perfectly well and in peace. But if you do believe in God, you will find many friends here who believe in God 🖐🦋
