No we need a young offensive minded coach. We should go all in on McVay. We need a coach who can scheme players open and not overly rely on people winning one on one matchups on ability alone.
In my posts on saints videos I’ve been clear that I want a young offensive minded head coach. It’s not to say that another kind of coach couldn’t be effective and I’m willing to hear the steel man version of that argument. My concern is that the young great offensive mind that’s not the head coach is not going to be on your staff for long and then you are back to square one.
While I can't get behind Flores because of Miami time, I don't get to make decisions on coaches. Nevertheless, Flores would be a mistake for the Saints and the City of New Orleans.
@@demetriuserving2953People just talk just to talk. While not perfect, Flores help build up Miami to consecutive winning seasons and got the Vikings defense playing at a high level. He proved he can be a head coach. Give that man a 6 year contract so they can repair the cap and install his system.
Ross does a good job but his take on these coaches are wild…this would be a disaster hiring Flores. It’ll be like hiring Dennis Allen all over again. He had Tua and wanted to get rid of the guy. If Rizzi doesn’t retain the job, the Saints should be going all in on Ben Johnson. I think Rizzi is organized and isn’t soft like DA was. The player s respect Rizzi on another level, and that’s what was missing from this team. DA was a coward who left his players hanging out to dry. And we all have to remember the Saints isn’t an attractive job because of the cap situation and the way Mickey Loomis has kept the team from being able to sign big time free agents.
Because Flores looked to enrich himself and capitalize on a time which will not be remembered fondly in the history books. He’s no different than Colin Kapernick, the ultimate sports grifter. Saying there is discrimination in coaching hires is like saying there is discrimination in the racial makeup of players being picked in the drafts. It’s preposterous. No owner is going to sacrifice all the money he can potentially make by hiring the most competent coach.
@buckybuck1820 so you got a problem with him because he has a problem with the League 🤣 that still shouldn't stop him from getting a HC job eventually he will get back there
What makes his claim even more absurd is that the GM that fired him in Miami is BLACK.... He labled an owner that hired a Black GM and coach a racist.... He's also a snake. He tried to shit on Bill Belicheck as well after Bill Belicheck put him on... He's an agent of chaos and will play the race card every time he's criticized... No one is accusing him of discrimination against black women.... We all recognize his right to have a white wife.. @buckybuck1820
No way dam man what is up with the New Orleans professional teams they are like the can’t get right of pro sports hiring this coach would be a huge mistake
Chris Horton is also a New Orleanian. He’s a 2003 graduate of De Laselle.
No more defensive head coaches please.
Good morning, Ross and the Who Dat family!

Keep Rizzi
My team everyday
Any relation to Tom Flores.

If you going from his time in Miami you should actual like him more. Flores buildup the dolphins

Already did a show on why Rizzi deserves the gig so far and why Ben Johnson would be the top candidate! Feel free to go and check those out!
Nope
Please No!!!
Why not ?

Noooo... nmn mnnm, naw, nope, negative Batman
He is my choice if you can't get Glenn
But Glenn 1st
Brain Flores is the best candidate. He really turned the Dolphins around when the owner was against him
No way dam man what is up with the New Orleans professional teams they are like the can’t get right of pro sports hiring this coach would be a huge mistake
Mickey brought in Flores, NOT Gale....Let's be real.
I think Flores would be a great fit and I think he would keep our offensive staff around
No thanks. Hard pass. They need an offensive minded coach. We tried the defensive coach with D. A. And that failed.
I really don't like the idea of another defensive minded head coach.
Please NO on Flores! Defensive coach, not well received in lockerroom, DA rerun. 3 strikes.
Don’t make any coaching changes until the season is completed
Don’t upset the cart now
Who hires a coach in the middle of a season when an interim is at the helm? NO ONE. Do you even know what’s going on in the league?
