To all the people saying "it's time" or to "hang it up" It will be that time when they say it is You guys don't have to watch or attend their shows I saw them twice last year with my girlfriend and both times it was fuckin badass and also look forward to seeing them again when they come around as so do others BÖC !
I go see BOC live at least twice a year, and they have always been superb. There is no need for them to hang it up. Keep rocking BOC, and I will be there with you
I wore out Some Enchanted Evening back in the day listening to Astronomy live. What a great song. Just caught these guys live last week and what an inspiration they are. Still kicking ass well into their 70s
Was bound to happen. My only thing is, as certain songs go, they should just not do live anymore. Seeing how Astronomy was always my favorite, it pains me greatly to say that. Here is a live video that I found to be the best balance of audio quality(that "Live 1976's" audio quality was horrendous) and also has their laser show and Eric's pipes are still stupendous.) th-cam.com/video/2DndrpxR8as/w-d-xo.html
Yeah, Eric's pipes have not been able to be what they should be for this masterpiece, for quite awhile now. Here's a live version that has decent audio/video quality, and Eric's pipes were almost at their peak. I always thought they were at their finest in 1974/1975, but this also showcases their laser show, which unfortunately, the camera technology at the time, could not capture THAT magnificence. th-cam.com/video/2DndrpxR8as/w-d-xo.html
Buck said that the US department of defense made them stop using those type lasers because they were too strong and dangerous and since then those type lasers have never been used by any band as far as he knew.

@@ShawnEveridgeConcertVids Good set list, though I wonder why they are choosing to do Train True and Box in my Head from the new album. I'd much rather hear Florida Man and Edge of the World.
@@RoeserFan1 I hear you man. I love The Symbol Remains, but Box in My Head and Train True are my least favorites. Edge of the World is my favorite song on the new album.
@@brentkrohn4731 It's great seeing them Brent, but not necessarily hearing them. I absolutely love BOC but every band reaches a point when they should hang it up and protect their legacy. Buck and Bloom are the ONLY two original members left and they're both getting old and can really no longer do justice to the songs. It's inevitable. Time weakens us all.
@@rubicon-oh9km I really don't think because they are not what they were years ago It's going to hurt their legacy. It's pretty much cemented and has been for years. Most recent concert reviews are positive and say both Eric and Buck sound great. Of course they aren't going to every night or for every song.
@@rubicon-oh9km Buck is still pretty good but Bloom is horrble...and whats that with the ryhthym guitar..I was about to fall asleep watching him....take some pointers from JY and Rudolph Eric...I quit getting excited about BOC live because the last 10 years or so i have been dissappointed everytime i saw them....I have nothing but deep respect for their legacy but its definately time boys
Old age will never stop the greats! We will never again see this sort of talent or emotion in music

The Best American Rock Band Ever.
Great song. One of my favorites by BOC.
what a phantastic version of my all time fav. BÖC song - Love it
It’s not just the music we see them for it s to be near these men that have such a rich and mysterious history
Probably the chilliest rendition I’ve ever heard a lot closer to the album version for sure
You've heard a different version than i have,I love boc ,I hate to say that Eric doesn't sound the same. Bless him for doing his best!!
EXCELLENT RENDITION
these guys never get old
Amazing! BOC still rocking!
Danny's bass is great.
Great job on the video! Thanks for posting this! 🤘
I live only a couple hours away and could've been there. What a dumbass I am. But thanks much for sharing!
I'm gonna say it - Eric Bloom forgot the first verse. They played through it and came out pretty well.

The imaginos version of this song is much better.
The definitive version is on Some Enchanted Evening. I could have sung it better than this, time to go boys.
