I understand that, yet Sue passed away in 2008 and I doubt Peter was even able to defend this comment. I'm a huge Columbo fan and this is a portion of tv history regarding the show, so I think these actors are accustomed to getting trashed occasionally.
The episode she refers to is, "Dead Weight." Great episode. It worked out well, regardless. Very interesting inside info, though. Falk always said when he was 'negotiating' to direct, that he simply stayed in his trailer. Clearly not true. He simply stayed home LoL

Too bad Peter Falk couldn't be there to defend himself. Kind of cowardly on her part. There ARE two sides to every story.
I do agree with others; throwing someone under the bus like that is not cool but it's what celebs do.

Falk was smart; I would have done the same thing. These studios make so much money off of these shows. It's business and it happens all the time.
