don't understand your question fully. 1 , -2 , -8 are the three numbers when it's in descending powers of "3a+4". so we input 1, -2, -8 to get the answers.

不好意思, 之前 miss 了你 comment這個不是這類. 是抽 common factor 和 grouping term. xy - 4y² - (x - 4y)²= y(x - 4y) - (x - 4y)² (頭兩項抽 y 做 common factor)= (x - 4y)(y - (x - 4y)) (抽 (x - 4y) 為 common factor)= (x - 4y)(y - x + 4y)= (x - 4y)(5y - x)

@@DaveLau0313 出 extra 講假分數應該未必會了，我儘量在這裏答你，睇下你明唔明吧。Example: Factorize 12x² - 13x - 55. 按 formula-01 會出到 2.75 按"a b/c" 變成 11/4 Factor 是 (4x - 11)-1.666... 按"a b/c" 變成 -5/3 Factor 是 (3x + 5)so the answer is 12x² - 13x - 55 = (4x - 11)(3x + 5)
