I am pretty new to all this. I am planning on joining SDA church. I had no idea of all the symbolism in the Bible. I was more evangelical. Have learned that being baptized and accepting Jesus is just the beginning. It is too easy the evangelical way. Really enjoy these two gentlemen and Pastor Veith separately.
When my children were little they delighted to 'do my will' (help me with anything they could). The desire to please and help was innate. Then they grew older and discovered the word 'no'. They then had to be taught to help, that chores were a part of life, and they had to do their bit to keep the household running, whether they wanted to or not. These were the years of grudgingly doing 'my will'. Then they grew into adulthood and realised the responsibility that comes with life, that no one will do things for you. So, when they were little the desire to please came naturally. Then, as they grew older, they had to learn to surrender their childish self. As they came into maturity they also had to learn to surrender their adult self.

Excellent topic. Upon coming to the Lord (BTW - it was (actual) science that brought me to the Bible) that I was first so mostly moved to reach atheists. Studying the word God opened my eyes to Sabbath, state of the dead, prophecies and so many truths - not being taught where we were in a Sunday keeping church. I tried in vain to awaken them. But rather than accepting what the word of God says, even the teaching pastor (a Greek and Hebrew' scholar - ends up saying that the book of Revelations "doesn't matter"; tossing away all that did not fit the denomination teachings. God led us to Adventism -- ahhh. My burden had shifted to those "having a form of godliness, but denying the power therein" in the Sunday keeping churches. Its been almost 20 years as an Adventist now. Sadly in that time my burden shifted again to those in our own === Adventist churches ===. Here in the west coast of the US, there are very few Adventist churches that are WILLING to preach Adventist doctrines, including the prophecies and the prophetic teachings of Sister White. Recently we started at an Adventist Church closer to home. Those 'teaching' always tend to push away and marginalize the need for 'obedience'. I was praying God would raise the spiritual 'temperature'. I was given the opportunity to preach -- ...I don't hold back on truth, ...while speaking it in love. I largely addressed a church seated on the edge of the precipice. A few really appreciated the sermon and wanted more. But It seems apparent it would be the last time I'd be allowed to speak there. So it goes. God will open other doors. But what about those that are not able to hear the truth. We point people to Clash of Minds, Amazing Facts, Amazing Discoveries and other Word-following ministries. The conferences here, however, are even poisoning peoples' minds against those bastions of truth. All that being said 🙏🙏🙏🙏 it is so very frustrating today - and our hearts go out in trying to reach the lost... yet the world has locked themselves behind iron bars of self-deception. And those having the truth as espoused in True Adventist are unwilling to teach and preach the truth. And the majority in the congregations either know almost nothing of God's requirements (of which you spoke today), or they think they are saved by being there on The Sabbath and paying lip service to Christ, ...as long as they do some meager community service. It would be laughable if NOT SO VERY SERIOUS! My wife and I have been really coming to understand what it meant that Jesus was a "man of sorrows". He could see throughout the ages all that would be lost - because of vain things, self deceptions and worldly attachments. God help us all in reaching the few that have a true Love of the Truth - a love that extends beyond their own 'convenience' & 'worldly lusts'. A huge thankyou for the Clash of Minds ministry, RH

Your experience is well understood by many in the faith.👍 It is true, that once you are allowed to speak in the church and teach straight truth, future opportunities aren't guaranteed. The darkness covering the earth, in or out of the church, is astonishing and only prophesied to worsen. Be of good cheer, reach who you can and trust the rest with God.
Just remember Sister White said some whole congregations will be lost and in most, not one in twenty will be saved. I completely understand your frustrations as I too have encountered the same things. I am able to address some of these things though a zoom study I do every Wednesday night. We have been studying for awhile and have studied both Dan & Rev deeply, right now we are in a book called 'Preparation for the Final Crisis' which is a compilation of Sister Whites writings on spiritual preparation for end times. I also sometimes preach and teach at a little church in Willcox AZ, that is filled with people who have heeded the call to leave the cities. They are very sincere in seeking truth and embrace bible truths as well as SOP, the health message and medical ministry. Please stay positive and don't let any one or any portion of an organization sway you. Apostasy abounds everywhere but there is a remnant. Blessings to you.
And I was one of those people. So glad God called me to the truth. But cause People knew me as 1 way its hard to get them to understand Why I have changed. I try to tell them I'm not judging them only their sin. Pointing sin out what bible says. I tell them God is your judge. Really glad Walter explained being friends with someone but not being able to worship with them. Planting seeds is my job. God will make that seed grow as he did in me. God bless
I spent my career working for the church in education. I now work in a secular field. There are several co-workers who have asked to receive the daily devotional I write. Another thanked me, but told me he isn’t interested and doesn’t believe in God. I continue to be very friendly, but I know he has been clear on his choice. I have to respect his right to choose.

I'm still learning like I'm a little child on subjects. Been in sda church for yrs. Some subjects I finally understand biblically some not that I don't believe what I'm reading but takes me longer to actually understand to be able to show someone else from Bible what it is saying. Regarding the little children; you examined what they do but not what the don't: they don't have their minds filled yet with the world. That only happens as we become older, after the world has normalised it's way to us. We need to be like little children in that we need to throw off the enchantment of the world and be open to the tutelage of God ; reborn into a new way. It's ridiculous how hard I laugh when Balaam opens his mouth and out pops the opposite of what he was meant to say. Striving hard for that perspective which, even at times when my mind sets itself to unprofitability, God moves my heart and the praise of Him becomes an uncontrollable reflex. Thank you so much. This story is beautiful, and your insights on it are very edifying. I wish you both a restful Sabbath tomorrow.
I love what Balaam's story tells us. The danger of letting ourselves loose leads to an end like his. I would say that I can see why Paul call to circumcise the hearth, and not just obey the law for the appearance. Besides this story reiterate that God is not just the God of the Israelites, but of all mankind. Indeed I think his donkey was wiser than him.

🙋Has any one else noticed that the more education people have the harder they are to reach for Christ? Actually, reaching any one for Christ now a days is no easy task.
And the opposite is true for me, I have friends and family that lock on to a few words in scripture, with no context, or comparative validation elsewhere in scripture. So, they don't do enough analysis or study.... for example they state John 3:16 is the only requirement for salvation, that following the 10 commandments is not relevant, any more. Clearly this is not true, if you study scripture beyond the 15 minutes of reading.... so to speak. You have to believe in God, believe Christ died for our sins, and... follow the Law to the best of our ability, which is incomplete by our sinful nature. Thus they see no value in the 4th commandment, honoring the Sabbath. Thus they see that it is a sin to not follow same.

I believe when we let go of the man of sin and turn our eyes on Jesus, we are as empty of knowledge as a brand new baby just born..no knowledge of how to be a child of God. Our eyes continually stay on the Heavenly Father as our example of how to grow and develop into the person or character of Jesus. Just as a child looks continually to the adult in our lives to know how to be a functioning person, this is how we develop in Christ. This is why Jesus call us His little children. We really are. How precious is the Face of Jesus to my heart. It brings me joy continually to think of Him.
Great spirit of discernment. We all need Jesus Christ who is the way, the truth and life... hence the only way we can come up to him is to become like little children who are always eager to learn and inquisitive about what,why,who, where, when.. for the truth's sake. Thanks for the presentation
A thought on “little children”, the verse that talks about “if you turn one of these little ones from Me than it would better for you to have a mill stone around you neck…..”. My thought is, it could be like you were saying how it says we need to be like little children to make it into heaven. So if someone is to make one that has the faith of Christ like a child, to turn away from that faith, it would be better for him to have the mill stone around his neck… So it means that those that take His child away from Him is a big issue and He won’t deal kindly with them. I hope I got my thoughts down right, and understandable.
If you don't want to keep the law here, then you won't want to keep it in heaven. Simple! Satan opposed God's law in heaven, and what happened to him and those who followed him into rebellion? Yet you think God will make an allowance for you???
Gentlemen, I love that you both are Watchman on the wall!! As I listen to you this evening, a thought came to my mind regarding believers who live with non-believers. I often wonder if my husband or my children will be the ones to betray me. When the time comes & God whispers in my ear to flee will my family join me? It would be wonderful if you both could do your program on this. I have many friends who are Sabbath keeping women. However, our spouses & children are not despite prayers & witnessing. I'm sure their are many more believers out there like myself. How can we prepare when living among unbelievers?
Your post hit home with me as I am in the same situation with my husband and son. I pray and wait expectantly for both to be truly converted to believe in the present truth. I also know in my heart that if it does not happen at the expected time the Lord speaks those words to me, I must obey his voice and leave. We are not to allow anyone to come between our relationship with our Lord, not friends, parents, spouse, son, daughter, etc. That is a command. Pray daily for their salvation but be ready and prepare for the alternative. Prayers for you and others in our situation.

Thank you Prof Walter Veith and Elder Martin Smith for the continual sermons and updates on current events. I found the issue of the "unicorn" fascinating that it represents Jesus Christ our Saviour. Jesuit Theatre has always painted unicorns as a myth and a fantasy. Thank you for clearly showing that such an animal indeed existed at that the KJV of the Bible is indeed valid and sure!

It would be most educational to have a WUP topic on how Adventists can successfully protest the apostacies going on at both the church and conference levels. How can we have a voice? It sickens me that a vast majority of 'so-called' Adventist churches will only speak 'smooth things' from the word. A pastor of another local Adventist church here recently told a congregant that they were 'not going to teach any end time prophecy'. And this was previously a more conservative church. A whole level of organization full of Balams. Please help us -- I have no idea of the organizations structures that we can work through in having any kind of voice about what is being taught (or mis-taught) as the case may be. RH

I just heard what u are asking about what he said. But my husband and I was talking there is people that do good deeds on sabbath but cause it is a good deed that could have waited til after sabbath compared to maybe giving bible studies on sabbath. Doing good for a neighbor is it something that could wait or is it maybe he needs a ride to emergency room. That's just what husband and I was talking about. Walter said if we called ourselves a good deed church they would except us better instead of calling us what we are. 7th day believers
I don't believe we should do physical work for anyone on Sabbath, except in emergency. There are some in our area that go out and mow lawns on Sabbath (led by their pastor). That is a total cop-out as far as I can see and not representing a good example to others, especially our own youngsters.
How can one Trust and Obey if these same words have been so used and abused by corrupt governments and evil doers ? When one has been beaten down to oblivion for applying this trust and obey rule one does no longer know when to open up again. I hope God will provide me with the guidance. Amen.
We are to trust and obey the Lord, not man. Keep your eyes on Jesus and trust in his wonderful promises. Read and study his word daily. Prayers for you.
At about the 1 hour mark in the video it was said that doing good deeds on the Sabbath would thereby break the Sabbath. Can you provide some clarification? How does doing good on the Sabbath break it? I’m probably missing something. Thanks!
Yup, Jesus made the point that we should do good works on the Sabbath if need be, when He questioned the religious people on the subject because of their opposition to Him doing so, and then answered His own question -"Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath". Many Xts since then and to this day still get caught by the rules of tradition that the religious of Jesus' time (on earth) held and enforced. I will speak here tho, with presumption, for both Walter and Martin, knowing that they both would agree with the Lord's words on the subject. Sometimes we say things that those listening can't help but receive in a context not meant , because of us not clarifying our words with a fuller explanation. (We can sometimes do too much on the Sabbath under the pretense of doing 'good works').
He was being sarcastic. Quoting what some think about doing good deeds on the Sabbath - that it would be breaking the Sabbath - like those in the Old Testament thought Jesus broke the Sabbath by healing people.
But what if it's a funeral or a wedding? Can you not attend because you're mixing with false religions? Alot of my funerals have been Catholic including my own grandfather's. Do I not go??
That is a very good question that requires prayer and seeking the Lord for answers. I myself would not attend but I am convicted against participating in anything that is a tradition of man. .
🙋 Emily, Fellowshipping with apostate churches and groups is not the same as paying respect for deceased loved ones or attending a family wedding. Your presence everywhere, as a Christian, is a fragrant witness for Christ. But, if you think you can mingle with nominal Christians and speak truth, you will find out quickly, somebody will have to change.
Go to funerals to comfort the living; weddings can be a bit off these days though, always pray regarding the circumstances and the relationship to yourself, such as close family weddings and if it is on the Sabbath. Try to get a read of "I dared to call Him Father". About a muslim convert who had this exact problem in Pakistan
Every smart phone in the uk is to get an alarm on sun day (st George's day) to test out the new system. Furture alarms could be adverse weather conditions or another pandemic or whatever.

And those having the truth as espoused in True Adventist are unwilling to teach and preach the truth. And the majority in the congregations either know almost nothing of God's requirements (of which you spoke today), or they think they are saved by being there on The Sabbath and paying lip service to Christ, ...as long as they do some meager community service. It would be laughable if NOT SO VERY SERIOUS!
My wife and I have been really coming to understand what it meant that Jesus was a "man of sorrows". He could see throughout the ages all that would be lost - because of vain things, self deceptions and worldly attachments. God help us all in reaching the few that have a true Love of the Truth - a love that extends beyond their own 'convenience' & 'worldly lusts'.

It is true, that once you are allowed to speak in the church and teach straight truth, future opportunities aren't guaranteed.
The darkness covering the earth, in or out of the church, is astonishing and only prophesied to worsen.
Be of good cheer, reach who you can and trust the rest with God.
Just remember Sister White said some whole congregations will be lost and in most, not one in twenty will be saved. I completely understand your frustrations as I too have encountered the same things. I am able to address some of these things though a zoom study I do every Wednesday night. We have been studying for awhile and have studied both Dan & Rev deeply, right now we are in a book called 'Preparation for the Final Crisis' which is a compilation of Sister Whites writings on spiritual preparation for end times. I also sometimes preach and teach at a little church in Willcox AZ, that is filled with people who have heeded the call to leave the cities. They are very sincere in seeking truth and embrace bible truths as well as SOP, the health message and medical ministry. Please stay positive and don't let any one or any portion of an organization sway you. Apostasy abounds everywhere but there is a remnant. Blessings to you.

I spent my career working for the church in education. I now work in a secular field. There are several co-workers who have asked to receive the daily devotional I write. Another thanked me, but told me he isn’t interested and doesn’t believe in God. I continue to be very friendly, but I know he has been clear on his choice. I have to respect his right to choose.

Regarding the little children; you examined what they do but not what the don't: they don't have their minds filled yet with the world. That only happens as we become older, after the world has normalised it's way to us. We need to be like little children in that we need to throw off the enchantment of the world and be open to the tutelage of God ; reborn into a new way.
It's ridiculous how hard I laugh when Balaam opens his mouth and out pops the opposite of what he was meant to say.
Striving hard for that perspective which, even at times when my mind sets itself to unprofitability, God moves my heart and the praise of Him becomes an uncontrollable reflex.

I love what Balaam's story tells us. The danger of letting ourselves loose leads to an end like his. I would say that I can see why Paul call to circumcise the hearth, and not just obey the law for the appearance.
Besides this story reiterate that God is not just the God of the Israelites, but of all mankind. Indeed I think his donkey was wiser than him.
As always, a great series. Keep up the good work and preaching the testimony. We live in troublesome times, there is clearly a need to spread God’s Word like never before. Time is short.

More often it's the wealthiest people harder to reach
And the opposite is true for me, I have friends and family that lock on to a few words in scripture, with no context, or comparative validation elsewhere in scripture. So, they don't do enough analysis or study.... for example they state John 3:16 is the only requirement for salvation, that following the 10 commandments is not relevant, any more. Clearly this is not true, if you study scripture beyond the 15 minutes of reading.... so to speak. You have to believe in God, believe Christ died for our sins, and... follow the Law to the best of our ability, which is incomplete by our sinful nature. Thus they see no value in the 4th commandment, honoring the Sabbath. Thus they see that it is a sin to not follow same.

I believe when we let go of the man of sin and turn our eyes on Jesus, we are as empty of knowledge as a brand new baby just born..no knowledge of how to be a child of God. Our eyes continually stay on the Heavenly Father as our example of how to grow and develop into the person or character of Jesus. Just as a child looks continually to the adult in our lives to know how to be a functioning person, this is how we develop in Christ. This is why Jesus call us His little children. We really are. How precious is the Face of Jesus to my heart. It brings me joy continually to think of Him.

A thought on “little children”, the verse that talks about “if you turn one of these little ones from Me than it would better for you to have a mill stone around you neck…..”. My thought is, it could be like you were saying how it says we need to be like little children to make it into heaven. So if someone is to make one that has the faith of Christ like a child, to turn away from that faith, it would be better for him to have the mill stone around his neck… So it means that those that take His child away from Him is a big issue and He won’t deal kindly with them. I hope I got my thoughts down right, and understandable.

Gentlemen, I love that you both are Watchman on the wall!! As I listen to you this evening, a thought came to my mind regarding believers who live with non-believers.
I often wonder if my husband or my children will be the ones to betray me. When the time comes & God whispers in my ear to flee will my family join me?
It would be wonderful if you both could do your program on this. I have many friends who are Sabbath keeping women. However, our spouses & children are not despite prayers & witnessing. I'm sure their are many more believers out there like myself.
How can we prepare when living among unbelievers?
Your post hit home with me as I am in the same situation with my husband and son. I pray and wait expectantly for both to be truly converted to believe in the present truth. I also know in my heart that if it does not happen at the expected time the Lord speaks those words to me, I must obey his voice and leave. We are not to allow anyone to come between our relationship with our Lord, not friends, parents, spouse, son, daughter, etc. That is a command. Pray daily for their salvation but be ready and prepare for the alternative. Prayers for you and others in our situation.

Thank you Prof Walter Veith and Elder Martin Smith for the continual sermons and updates on current events. I found the issue of the "unicorn" fascinating that it represents Jesus Christ our Saviour. Jesuit Theatre has always painted unicorns as a myth and a fantasy. Thank you for clearly showing that such an animal indeed existed at that the KJV of the Bible is indeed valid and sure!

It would be most educational to have a WUP topic on how Adventists can successfully protest the apostacies going on at both the church and conference levels.
How can we have a voice? It sickens me that a vast majority of 'so-called' Adventist churches will only speak 'smooth things' from the word. A pastor of another local Adventist church here recently told a congregant that they were 'not going to teach any end time prophecy'. And this was previously a more conservative church. A whole level of organization full of Balams.
Please help us -- I have no idea of the organizations structures that we can work through in having any kind of voice about what is being taught (or mis-taught) as the case may be.

I just heard what u are asking about what he said. But my husband and I was talking there is people that do good deeds on sabbath but cause it is a good deed that could have waited til after sabbath compared to maybe giving bible studies on sabbath. Doing good for a neighbor is it something that could wait or is it maybe he needs a ride to emergency room. That's just what husband and I was talking about. Walter said if we called ourselves a good deed church they would except us better instead of calling us what we are. 7th day believers
I don't believe we should do physical work for anyone on Sabbath, except in emergency. There are some in our area that go out and mow lawns on Sabbath (led by their pastor). That is a total cop-out as far as I can see and not representing a good example to others, especially our own youngsters.
How can one Trust and Obey if these same words have been so used and abused by corrupt governments and evil doers ? When one has been beaten down to oblivion for applying this trust and obey rule one does no longer know when to open up again. I hope God will provide me with the guidance. Amen.

At about the 1 hour mark in the video it was said that doing good deeds on the Sabbath would thereby break the Sabbath. Can you provide some clarification? How does doing good on the Sabbath break it? I’m probably missing something. Thanks!
Yup, Jesus made the point that we should do good works on the Sabbath if need be, when He questioned the religious people on the subject because of their opposition to Him doing so, and then answered His own question -"Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath". Many Xts since then and to this day still get caught by the rules of tradition that the religious of Jesus' time (on earth) held and enforced. I will speak here tho, with presumption, for both Walter and Martin, knowing that they both would agree with the Lord's words on the subject. Sometimes we say things that those listening can't help but receive in a context not meant , because of us not clarifying our words with a fuller explanation. (We can sometimes do too much on the Sabbath under the pretense of doing 'good works').
He was being sarcastic. Quoting what some think about doing good deeds on the Sabbath - that it would be breaking the Sabbath - like those in the Old Testament thought Jesus broke the Sabbath by healing people.

That is a very good question that requires prayer and seeking the Lord for answers. I myself would not attend but I am convicted against participating in anything that is a tradition of man. .

Fellowshipping with apostate churches and groups is not the same as paying respect for deceased loved ones or attending a family wedding. Your presence everywhere, as a Christian, is a fragrant witness for Christ. But, if you think you can mingle with nominal Christians and speak truth, you will find out quickly, somebody will have to change.
Go to funerals to comfort the living; weddings can be a bit off these days though, always pray regarding the circumstances and the relationship to yourself, such as close family weddings and if it is on the Sabbath. Try to get a read of "I dared to call Him Father". About a muslim convert who had this exact problem in Pakistan
If you go to a catholic funeral or wedding do not participate in mass
