It’s simple:
If inflation is 20% and interest rate 10% u invest in stock market cuz all the big essential companies will increase prices to the inflation percentage.
So the revenue itself would grow at 20% no matter what for nifty 50 companies but this also shud make investors assume that the risk free rate would increase.
But if the inflation is 10% and fed announces a rate hike to reach interest rate to 10% then it’s better to take out money from stock market because the risk free rate itself is equal to inflation so any investor would not take risk to get the same return as inflation.
It’s better to buy companies with pricing power during inflation cuz they can beat inflation no matter what
