Wow the London Marathon course was so different back then, running through Admiralty Arch, along The Mall towards Buckingham Palace, then heading back past Parliament to finish on Westminster Bridge!
Lisa Ondieki took off too early in the race, then she gave away this race while waiting for Liz MacColgan to join her and this only gave a huge advantage to Katrin Dorre-Heining From Germany.
