I met a man on a plane and December 2005. By May 2006 I had moved across the country to be with him. Within a few weeks he basically abandoned me. The day I met him nessus was at 2° Chiron at 2° and Venus retrograding at one degree of Aquarius. My ascendant is at 3° Aquarius and my part of Fortune is at one degree Aquarius. It was doomed from the beginning!!

We worry about mercury retrograde
but a malific like Saturn in retrograde could well be a benific in some manner.
I have heard that it also can be flipped if a certain planet was retro vs direct in your natal chart
