I've been listening Katatonia since 1995 and love their every decade. I listened this song over 20 times. Yes straight forward maybe but every time it makes me cry. So emotional. Thank you for reacting.
I just recently began the journey into this band. Everything I've heard so far is fantastic! The Fall of Hearts is one of my favorite albums of the decade. This band is so good. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Sonically Disruptive I listened City Burials album an hour ago on Spotify. Layered, complex songs, upper professional song writing, fantastic vocals.. It’s definietly Masterpiece. I love so much. Please react all album 🙂 I love you and your channel. Greetings from Istanbul.
Favorite Song of my 8year old son. He recently started english lessons and was eager to translate the Song. For me that was both - fun and worrysome, if he would grasp the meaning. But we had some good talks about it and he got it, I guess. A happy mom educating their sons about good music 😇 thanks for your reaction, as allways you just get to the same points I thought of 🥰
This might be one the best songs they have made especially from an accessibility standpoint. It's really quite brilliant. I too wish it was a bit longer, but man they do a lot with that 3 minutes.
Loving what I am hearing from City Burials so far, without question. As soon as I heard the start of this song I immediately thought of "Onward into Battle" from the "Night is the New Day" album - Not sure about all the new direction talk. This is going back to some of their best work to date in my opinion.
I definitely heard that era. I've listened too several from Night is the New Day. I also heard a few elements of The Fall of Hearts. Sounds like a nice blend.
Listening in New Zealand where we get released first. I was unimpressed by the singles but as a whole I'm quite enjoying the album as a whole. The song Laquer fits in well.
@@sonicallydisruptive so do I Rush is my fave band all time. I noticed you said you like Priest and Queensryche two more awesome legendary bands. By the way Katatonia does. Priest cover of "When the Night Comes Down" on city burials check it out.🎸🎤🎵
This is like Depeche Mode's Ultra period (darker and heavier) with more guitar-oriented metal-sniffing... or something. It's got that dark mood at any rate.
The album imho is one of their best. I'm not a huge fan but this album stirred something in me. More dynamic than Leprous pitfalls which I enjoy. General negative would be a lack of dynamic vocals but there are no fillers and I would say this is the weakest track which is not bad. If it wasn't for nz restrictions I would be looking for the vinyl. Countdown to no lockdown.
Thanks for the review. I'm going to listen in several hours, when I can record, because I'll be doing each song on the record. If The Winter of Our Passing is the weakest, it will be great indeed. Also, I loved Pitfalls!
This song is so awsome
They just make everything seem so effortless, changing their sound while still retaining that core.
Katatonia - Leaders, Ambitions, Second, Dead Letters.

I have a 8 year old as well. Very curious age. That is great parenting! Thanks for your kind words.
I truly love this band. Hype for the new album! Make sure everyone buys a physical copy since the band cant tour. Support these guys!
Very true. They make pennies on streaming.
I bought 3 copies
Bought mine. Hopefully they have a tour after everything passes.
Most beautiful music 🇸🇪
my favorite band
Klone - Immaculate Desire, Immersion, Yonder, Into The Void...
A beer later. Vanishers. Hits the same level of recent Leprous. Quite beautiful.
These three songs have all been new ground for Katatonia. Pleased to enjoy it with you

Since I've started to listen to them, it seems they can do no wrong. Such a interesting and great band.
Good to hear you're enjoying it Joe, hope you'll get better soon.
Thanks!
The Racing Heart part 2?!? Great song, loved the drums and Jonas is incredible

Reign hits the mark along with the opening track. Heavy and light, very good.
Estrum - All I Want
Katatonia - Journey Trough Pressure
Anathema - Flying
Klone - Immaculate Desire
I realy enjoyd this track 🤘
Katatonia - Journey Through Pressure, Sold Heart, Second, Dissolving Bonds, Soil’s Song...
This one reminds me of Racing heart so much ... But still loving so much ❤️
Anathema - Flying, Release, One Last Goodbye, Angelica.

Take your time fellow metalhead. Don't feel obligated or something.
This is Sweden's version of the band Rush. This band is just awesome in every regard.
I love both!

I hear alot of that influence for sure.
This song sounds groovy and funky, yet maintains a dark depressive melancholic and serious tone. They should not be able to pull this off.

U just need to relax and be healthy... do it together with Draconian 😁🤘🙏
Which song should I start with?
Sonically Disruptive .. i like Death, come near me.. but their famous One is stellar tombs
I'll do it very soon, today or tomorrow. Thanks
Sonically Disruptive : U Will love it 👍
I though this was the weakest of the 3 singles, but that being said. their weakest single is better than most bands top song.
I loved all 3 so far.
I thought so at first now after reading lyrics and repeated listens I think it's one of their best songs.
