    Robert Bellah is a giant of a thinker and a scholar.

    This is is an example of a good lecture. Informative and persuasive, analytic and synthetic, with both humor and an eye for tragedy. It would be interesting to see Lipset alive, in dialogue with Bellah.

    ONE culture in France. Not any "multiculturalism" by here.

      That's why there is so much fighting among Americans with themselves. We all have different ideas of who we are. We have no unified national identity.
