The only problem with "doing your own research" is...who do you believe? I watch many TH-cam videos about health and proper nutrition, and sometimes the presenters conflict with one another. Without some medical training it's pretty tough to tell who you should put your faith in.
I was there, 59 years old on 7 daily medications, 4 of which were prescription and fixing to be put on yet another additional one for blood pressure. Trips to the doctor for blood work and physicals every 6 months insured good health right? My PCP was treating my symptoms with medications. I knew nothing about nutrition and health. Seriously, I assumed McDonalds was healthy eating with bread from wheat, cheese, meat, potatoes cooked in vegetable oil and of course a super sized Dr. Pepper to wash it down. What can be wrong with that? I then found Dr. Lustigs video "Sugar the bitter truth" and it was eye opening. I have searched several internet doctors (including Dr. Dhand) and nutritionist and finally learned what is healthy. I'm now 52 pounds lighter and off all medications at 62. My doctor treated my symptoms appropriately but I had to go to TH-cam to find out how to avoid symptoms all together.

The Hospital has also been quick to respond and get relevant tests and scans carried out. It is hard to get an appointment, but I have just discovered that I can message my GP, and that has been excellent. My main concern with the NHS is the lack of help with preventive medicine and non-drug methods of treating ailments - as Dr Dhand has suggested in this video.

Dropped seven prescription drugs I was told i would be on for life. Diet and lifestyle habits are better than drugs! Healthy patients are bad for business.
I had a heart attack in the USA while on holiday and can say the emergency treatment was brilliant. The people excellent second to none. However I was held in intensive care two full days longer than needed and then in another ward for two days which I didn't need. I was put under pressure to sign liability expense recovery forms while recovering in hospital even though I had insurance to cover treatment and the stay in hospital. When I got home I was sent bills for immediate payment for $185,000 initially from the hospital and after six months from a debt collecting company based in Boston due to the insurance company objecting to the cost of the treatment. You can imagine my stress levels at the very time doctors told me to avoid it at all costs. Eventually, it was paid and all ended well. I owe my life to those caring professional people who were so kind. But I don't like the way parts of that system work.
The system is abhorrent because the United States is a fear based culture and primarily based upon greed. I left the United States and have never once regretted my decision.
I agree totally. I am responsible for my own health. I am the only one who can look after this body that God has graciously given me. A pill will not fix bad habits.
Most of the mainstream medical establishment is riveted on pharmaceuticals and surgery as the only "right" treatments for just about any sickness or disease. And then they scold you if you don't do what they say. So very much appreciate all you do Dr. Dhand. Your wisdom and advice is priceless, and helping so many to take responsibility for their own health. Best to you sir.
I work for a NP and she tries her best to not prescribe medications. She has lots of information ready to give patients about life style changes with exercise and diets. As much as she preaches it and lives it; I would say only 1 percent of her patients take her advice. They would rather keep eating and living the way they do and get medication to, "cure" it. In my 30 years of healthcare, these people don't change. I give her lots of credit, because she never gives up on trying to change her patients.
I am 77,I have not gone to a Dr in 10 years, I have no clue about my blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar, nothing, I feel well, so, take many supplements, I keep going, we all have to go. I admire the Drs who do surgery, that's another story. My late father in law was a Dr. those days they did tonsils, delivered babies, a jack of all trades he even did house calls, that's over now, but even then I was about 40 and always into Naturopathy, we used to have many friendly disagreements. Thank you Dr for your work.
I found out many doctors won’t test your vitamin and mineral levels. Why? I had to go to someone other than my PCP to get my Vitamin D levels tested. Vitamin D plays a role in so many chronic conditions.
I had gut issues for decades, and was told it was irritable bowel’. This is code for ‘this is not going to be investigated or treated. I was only treated with a sleeping pill, as my gut bothered me at night. I took matters into my own hand and, along with help from a Naturopath, discovered I had parasites. It took 6 months to treat it, but I went into withdrawal from the sleeping pill. That was hell on earth, I was bedridden for months, and 3 years later, I’m still not nearly recovered from that. I still feel ill all the time, but exercise a lot, and have a healthy diet. And I stay away from doctors, as much as possible. I would cautiously suggest that seeing a naturopath is an option. They do vary a lot, but were able to help me quite a bit.
Same here. Agonizing period all in my head, endometriosis that cost me everything they could take out including 8 " of intestine. Irritable bowel turned out to be an olive allergy! Decades!
Absolutely! My grandmother in late1970s always told us your health is yours not your Dr's . Take care of it. Don't get in regimen of going to see Dr. She passed on alot of knowledge and was a very holistic medicine type person. It works.
@@rosa9079 And I, no chiropractor, no dentist and no family doctor. I am my own doctor. My employer and Medicare pay my health insurance for nothing. I never use it!
61 , and same for me. Vinyasa yoga , farm work , no processed food , hiking , prayer and fellowship with many friends. No meds , no docs. If I get cancer , I want to find out a few days before I go home .
I discovered Dr. Joseph Mercola almost 20 years ago and his teachings set me on a course away from Modern Western Conventional Medicine and I am grateful for it! So happy to have now also found Dr. Dhand, who I totally believe is a picture perfect example of what all medical practitioners should be. Thank you for sharing your compassionate wisdom, Dr. Dhand!
Thank you for helping people , i watched you and dr cambel from uk , the only people who were telling the truth during covid and i know how you were both treated , the truth is coming out
Everything you just said has been my personal didactic for health for the past 40 years, including my extended family and even for my young grandchildren. We have excellent medical insurance so it is hard to stay away but the traditional medical system is set up to only help those in sickness, not those in health. Sad state of affairs. Stay away. Stay far far away. Grocery shop wisely. Read all labels- no more than three or four ingredients should be listed. Shop the outer aisles where all the healthy food is. Cook from scratch. Grow your own food. Drink lots of water. MOVE MOVE MOVE! Stay away from all injectables. I've been an RN ( now a coroner) for 50 years and I have never veered from these principles. No meds- no way, no how!
The best thing you can do to stay free of sickcare is to do some fasting. All fat lost during a fast comes from the problematic liver fat first because your liver produces the blood glucose for your bloodstream and uses liver fat to do this once liver glycogen is gone.
Here in the UK, there appears to be a huge drive in pharmacies to get customers into having their BP checked. I have my own BP checker so I always decline, but I suspect that pharmacists are also being given 'incentives' to get people on meds. I just don't trust anyone now
was diagnosed in feb 2020 with prostate cancer mets to pelvis, lower back ,tumours in hip joints and the list went on .bone density 989,psa 2890,they wanted to replace hips and chemo and radiation ,they could do none of them as bones to brittle .i refused all treatment except prostrap3 as i couldn't work out how to rebalance my hormones .here 4 years later went down the mineral herbs and hydration route with real salt ,psa runs around 2-3 bones back to 30 and pretty clear ,never felt healthier and 66 yrs old now .i now know when my body is not right and can quickly rebalance it with meditation and frequency medicine ,Rife was absolutely correct and amazingly today i saw National Geographic have a full article on Rife frequencies ,wonders will never cease lol.
I went to a new doctor today and had a very bad experience. He was the second doctor I had seen since leaving my old doctor a year and a half ago. He told me I was a “big red flag” and I explained my reasons why I did this. He criticized me for not wanting to take the meds that were prescribed and made me feel uncomfortable about my depression and anxiety. I feel so let down again and I don’t think I ever want to see him or any other doctor ever again. I’m 79 years old and so tired of all of this.
I'm so sorry, that sounds so frustrating. I'm praying today that God strengthens you and encourages you even in the midst of your depression. I'm proud of you!
Dr. Sunneel you are explaining very nicely and saying all truth. Thank you very much. My thinking and way is what you saying. I am 71 and not taking any medication.
Bravo Doc. The closer we live our lives to the natural order the less likely we will take on a chronic "money making" illness that will be "managed" for life. Most chronic illness is self inflicted and the real crime and incompetence is that virtually no medical doctor will acknowledge that simple fact and help the patient correct his lifestyle choices.
Amen, my wife screams at me why do I argue with “these people” (the medical community). I tell her as much as we abhor the US medical industrial complex we need to be up on their new scam so that if we get involved with them in the event of a catastrophic event we will have an idea of what things we will be steamrolled by. We test privately and use a GP but our everyday focus is on metabolic health and I read and research every test result that could have a negative impact on our health. Better to do this while still healthy so you’re ready for the inevitable emergency.
We may have good emergency and urgent care in the U.S. but the prices are astronomical. I went to an Urgent Care to check my sore throat for the flu, covid and strep. They could not tell me the price but made me sign forms promising to pay it, no matter what it was. They mailed a bill for $824.55, "due upon receipt." Because I have insurance, the charge was adjusted down to $608.00. I called the provider's billing office but they insisted this price is "normal." Walgreen's offers the exact same covid/flu test on a walk-in basis for $20. Incidentally, the federal government requires health care pricing transparency, but it only applies to scheduled services, not emergency services, so it is truly impossible to know in advance what they will charge you for an ER or urgent care visit.
Wow!😮 I’m sorry that happened to you. I was unimpressed with a nearby Urgent Care and haven’t been to one since 2008. I think that Urgent Care operations are a different beast than a hospital Emergency Department.
Dr Dhand, this is exactly what I've said about the US health-care system. Emergency treatment is pretty good, but chronic care is lousy. My wife needed emergency surgery for a bowl obstruction and she was treated very successfully. It was life saving, really. It may have helped that this happened May, 2021 when it was very quiet in hospitals. I needed Emergency eye surgery just a few months ago for a detached retina and again everything was great. The staff was surprised that I wasn't on any medications. Keep up the good work my good man.
Yes the emergency is pretty good like you just said. And the other chronic care advise is lousy.. . I have lymphedema an incurable disease. And I had to go to the emergency room for a bad infection in my leg and sepsis blood poisoning and they helped me a lot. But now I don't trust them anymore ever since they started enforcing the corona vaccine. Which o know for sure that it is the mark of the beast.from the book of revelation from the KJV. Bible. And this corona vaccine has the name Luciferace. And the number . 666. That the Bible talks about. Luciferace. Comes from the name of Lucifer. Which is the name of the devil. Or. Satan..
I've always assumed that my health was my responsibility. I know when I'm not doing the optimal thing, and I know the consequences. Teaching health as personal responsibility is what we refuse to do to grow the business of illness. And many people who know what to do are losing the motivation to do it in a failing society. But I digress, the clock is running, and the time we have is the money we don't.
You are so right when speaking of chronic disease management, they dont want anyone well, they want a return patient. After all there is far more money to be made if you are not cured, but managed. I say I am my own best docter. No one knows by body as I do. I enjoy listening to you. You have integrity and your honesty speaks volumes. THANK YOU!!!!
I do have a doctor that likes the way I am treating my body with ketovore. I've given her a list of the supplements and vitamins I take and she agrees it's good. Don't need to go often and I am now old enough for discount medicare... I turned it down. No need for health insurance
God bless you Dr. Dhand. Truth spoken is like a soothing balm. Even when the truth is much harder to take than a pill. Truth empowers. Thank you for all you do to empower people with their health care!
I am 74 and on no medications. I've seen a doctor twice in the last 5 years. Once in 2019 when the go told me that my blood test showed that I should have gout. Never had gout in my life but he wouldn't believe me. I suspect he had a pill ready and waiting. Then at the end of 2021 I had a vertigo incident and the gp just gas lighted me. My husband was with me for that visit and was appalled by the way I was treated but I told him that women in particular have to put up with this sort of treatment often. I then did my own research and found more practical ways to handle my subsequent 'wobbliness' using ginger, walking, resetting my vision etc. I eat normal old fashioned home made food but still have treats at cafes too.
I sometimes get dizzy initially after lying down lasts a minute or two. I realised it was a condition called BPPV (crystals which have migrated to the ear canal, which need to be moved out of there) resolved by doing the Eplay manoeuvre. There are some good videos on YT explaining how to do this manoeuvre.
Just so you’re aware this is the second time on TH-cam that I could not like or share your information. The whole bottom of the screen was blank. So I had to come to my subscriptions. Because I will DEFINITELY like and share now. Thank You for your support and Honesty. God Bless You!
Being so open and honest and public service-minded, and firstly, intelligent enough to figure out in no uncertain terms what our systems are all about ($$$), may God continue to protect you from your detractors and bless you and yours with health and happiness!
Absolutely true, the stories I could tell....62 yo female , no meds, no doctor 15 yrars, felt compelled to follow up with er visit for ct scan following mild concussion. I suspected ear infection and asked them to examine. BP was elevated with er visit at 186/92 lowering to 165/86 before discharge. I informed er doc my regular bp is low at 100/70 on average. She insisted i have hypertension and that she must prescribe based on protocol, so i took advantage and requested hctz. Good to have on hand as water pill. She continues questions about numbness and tingling, i knew she was pursuing another diagnosis of neuropathy related to diabetes as she had informed me that at my age these diseases are expected. I informed her i dont prescribe to that belief and i am very healthy, in fact, though likely 15 years older than her, i appeared much healthier, no offense to her, but she was obese, skin appeared pasty and she had a stiff or awkward gait. I experience numbness at times in right toe, but it is resolved mostly with activity and massage. Even chiropractor wanted to call it sciatica, and i wont allow that either. Had i told her of that symptom, no doubt i would have been diagnosed with neuropathy and given gabapentin, which has horrific side effects, and i would never take. Its unbelievable how high doses people are prescribed this medication and complain of cognitive issues. Regardless, she got me side tracked with diagnosis of hypertension, ct was clear praise God, but they didnt even look at my ear or eyes. Id broke my 15 year record so went into urgent care the mext day diagnosis ear infection and prescribed appropriate antibiotic which is working. Typically i just use antibiotics from coop on the very rare occasion i need them. Had my own lab work done last fall. Any doctor would have diagnosed me with high cholesterol and immediately put me on a statin as they did my parents, which was the beginning of their decline. Both passed healthy until last months at age 86, mom died from heart problems associated to Maderna vaccine, though they wont admit it. Dads pcp raised red flag about high bp even though dad took his daily record with him showing his bp also ran 100/70, goofball doc didnt even look and note for visit reprimanded dad for not accepting cardiac referral. As for my high LDL,l i expect further test would show large particles, not small, while my hdl is also high and triglycerides are low., and i have no concerns regarding tbis. Pcp wouldn't have checked further, and im sure they didnt on my folks. They gave mom the box test for colon cancer screen when she wa 83, came back positive and they wanted her to do colonoscopy even after i sent her ama jounal article that indicated she should have never been given that screen at 83 when risk of false positive is high and colonoscopy contraindicated. I could never count the extensive number of medical errors in chart reviews I've seen, most common in recent years is prescribed doses of psychotropic medication far above recommended when a medication doesnt work (from 3 to 10 times recommended dose). Okay, Ive vented, thank you for gour videos. They are validating. Doctors dont know how to interact with healthy people, except to make them sick, and my opinions are not welcome. By the way I mostly also live by your 3 rules, except I have an affection for candy amd consume more than I should and occasional junk food. I reason everything in balance, though know it contributes to inflammation and take tumeric. Another chiropractor wanted to diagnose the "a" word which i told him I don't prescribe to, and he looked at me like i was nuts. I didnt need a package deal, just a one time tune up because i had missed several massage appointments. Massage, supplements and staying away from doctors keeps me healthy. I was raised in a rural country doctor's office going on housecalls with my nurse mom when medicine was a true practice. I also agree that in true crisis ER visit saved my dad 13 years before he died, and my son feom TBI 24 years ago. So much more harm than good, same pcp as for mom took her off estrogen she had taken over 40 years and was well into her 70s, and her health and quality of life declined. Okay, this time I really am done, good to get it off my chest. Thanks again. God is good, and prayers definitely get me through better than the healthcare machine ever will.
That's exactly what I try to do! I proved doctors wrong, and after their doomsday diagnosis for me, Im still kicking 23 years later! I can tell recently after intense stress that my body has been suffering. Time to get back on track. I really enjoy your talks!!
My name is Annemarie thank you for being honest, being bedridden, for a long time, my posture muscle are in extreme pain so stiff, I got so used to being in pain, now I have been put on strong pain meds, have to fight to get my muscles stronger again thanks god bless Anna ❤
Maan! I Could Not Say it Better than You Dr. Suneel! I Agree with you 10000%!!! I Do follow online Doctors who Teach us the Same things, you are teaching US! Thank You!
Well, here in the UK, the system is on its knees with no direction home. If you always do what you've always done, you will always get what you've always got.
If you think about why so many knee/hip/disk, replacements are occurring today requires simple detective work. Hydration is the culprit. Over a period of 30-40 years of not drinking enough water, your brain is going to shoplift. Brains require a lot of water to function. If it doesn't, it does the most intelligent work of flogging water from your joints called synovial fluid. Over a period of time your joints dehydrate and become less lubricate and grindy. All joints are meant to last a lifetime, ( medical doctors will advise it's called wear and tear) which you know is absolute rubbish. TWO, (2), liters per day is what the brain/joints require to function. What about Dementia, Parkinson's, is it due to dehydration over a period of 30-40 years?
As a Canadian in the US with the best PPO insurance, I have learned the hard way 1) Go to Dr as little as possible. Do your own research and be prepared for the Dr to fear monger you and make you feel powerless (you are not) 2) always ask the price of any test they take first (nasal swab for a sore throat, vaccine for child). Unfortunately, it's a business here in the US and you have to shop around. I've rejected many tests and treatments and later found they were either much cheaper elsewhere or utterly useless. 3) Be your own doctor as to the doctors in the US you are nothing more than a customer
I have been listening to your health advise for sometime now. I applaud you for bringing awareness to the masses, your work is really appreciated. I made my choice of staying away from Doctors almost 20 years ago and I am so glad I did that because I do a lot of research and I have chosen to live a very healthy life. I will never look back. Thank you once again for your work.
I am 59, sober for 5 years, ride my bike 5k miles a year, eat mostly good whole foods. Have not been to a Dr in 8 years. I would like to have Quest do a yearly blood panel but not sure what to have done
That’s a great idea! I do self-pay testing at Quest. I can order the basics myself, but the last 2 I got, I had to order through an online company (they weren’t listed on Quest site). If you go to Quest site, look for tests recommended for men. You’ll have an idea of costs. Really reasonable. Good luck!
Thank you so much for this valuable information. I am not a medical provider or professional. I am a 76 year old product of the current over-60s so-called healthcare protocol revenue gravy train for the medical community here in the south and big pharma, beginning with pre-diabetes "treatment" resulting in kidney damage and mis-managed heart disease treatments. I will agree that the emergency room treatment received in 2018 for Congestive Heart Failure saved my life but that was 47 years after the first diagnosis of heart disease. I appreciate your videos and excellent information. Keep up the good work for all of us.
You are awesome! I just found you through a video of yours that Dr. Eric Westman reviewed and quickly went to the internet to follow you. Thank you for your content!
Thank you so much Agree with everything you say and put those things in place at 67 we are much more interested in quality more than “quantity of life . Talking with each other and family about a living Will regarding what interventions we want and what we don’t is also very important . 🙏
Merci pour cette vidéo, cela fait du bien d'entendre d'un professionnel ces déclarations, ça donne envie de continuer de se battre ce système corrompu universel
For the past few years I desperately sought to find independent labs for blood tests, self-referral CT & MRI scan places etc.. The reason being that I have so many times been treated as a half-wit in relation to my health issues and fobbed off only for the problem to ultimately be found (usually when it has come to a head). I have be forced to take the power out of their hands and be as proactive for myself. Fortunately the country I live in has begun to have these independent labs etc. but I begrudge the fact that I've had to do this.

The Rockefellers created the medical system. 😈🤘😜
Too many MDs are Money Doctors.
100% of the doctors I had to go to never talked to me about prevention and nutrition.
Be saved and blessed!
yes!! and the 4th thing i do is follow Dr. Suneel Dhand.. thank you so much for your wisdom. You are saving lives
What specialty does she practice?
So much truth in your post. Everyone wants to blame others for their troubles instead of doing the work themselves to improve their lives.
I am 77,I have not gone to a Dr in 10 years, I have no clue about my blood pressure,
cholesterol, sugar, nothing, I feel well, so, take many supplements, I keep going, we
all have to go. I admire the Drs who do surgery, that's another story. My late
father in law was a Dr. those days they did tonsils, delivered babies, a jack of all trades
he even did house calls, that's over now, but even then I was about 40 and always
into Naturopathy, we used to have many friendly disagreements. Thank you Dr
for your work.
Same here at 64 mate. I'll take my chances and not be tampered with by people trained to serve big pharma and the Rockefellers.

I found out many doctors won’t test your vitamin and mineral levels. Why? I had to go to someone other than my PCP to get my Vitamin D levels tested. Vitamin D plays a role in so many chronic conditions.
Most of the people who died from Covid were vitamin D deficient
Dr. Dhand, please get in touch with Dr. Ken Berry about his new non-profit organization that counters the ADA. This new organization needs you.

I don't even go to the free wellness check.
Decades!
It’s easy. Don’t go. I don’t

Totally agree. Medical care providers differ so much today compared to 30-40 years ago. Providers are much more profit-driven today.

Excellent, thought provoking, and educating commentary!
Dr. Suneel is humanitarian awesome!
Harmaceuticls... way too much of that going on🤯
that's right! HARM is right in the very word!
The best thing you can do to stay free of sickcare is to do some fasting. All fat lost during a fast comes from the problematic liver fat first because your liver produces the blood glucose for your bloodstream and uses liver fat to do this once liver glycogen is gone.
~I love how youre putting great, new info on fasting on these sights now!~You are doing a fantastic service for so many!!!~
The best things you can do are exercise and eat vegetables

Learning so much from you, Dr. Dhand! THANK YOU for being a "true physician" and caring for people, not just 💰.
Here in the UK, there appears to be a huge drive in pharmacies to get customers into having their BP checked. I have my own BP checker so I always decline, but I suspect that pharmacists are also being given 'incentives' to get people on meds. I just don't trust anyone now
😂😂😂😂😂
was diagnosed in feb 2020 with prostate cancer mets to pelvis, lower back ,tumours in hip joints and the list went on .bone density 989,psa 2890,they wanted to replace hips and chemo and radiation ,they could do none of them as bones to brittle .i refused all treatment except prostrap3 as i couldn't work out how to rebalance my hormones .here 4 years later went down the mineral herbs and hydration route with real salt ,psa runs around 2-3 bones back to 30 and pretty clear ,never felt healthier and 66 yrs old now .i now know when my body is not right and can quickly rebalance it with meditation and frequency medicine ,Rife was absolutely correct and amazingly today i saw National Geographic have a full article on Rife frequencies ,wonders will never cease lol.

Dr Suneel I wish you or another doctor like you were my doctor! Love all your videos!
A crystal spring brook. Keep flowing Suneel.
I think that Urgent Care operations are a different beast than a hospital Emergency Department.
you should avoid the fake covid test and save money!
Greed.
Anytime we go to the ER, the bill is outrageous, even with insurance. I have learned the hard way to just see a doctor, unless it's life threatening.
Wow whar a rip-off! Hate those kind of ppl This is why you can hardly trust anyone anymore!
My new favorite "Doc" channel

Bible. And this corona vaccine has the name
Luciferace. And the number . 666. That the Bible talks about. Luciferace. Comes from the name of
Lucifer. Which is the name of the devil. Or. Satan..
Profitcare more like it, I stay aware from all doctors and hospitals
I am the CEO of my own well being.
Emergency care is poetry in motion. I agree very good care in the US.

God bless you Dr. Dhand. Truth spoken is like a soothing balm. Even when the truth is much harder to take than a pill. Truth empowers. Thank you for all you do to empower people with their health care!
Thank you Dr.Dhand ,great advice
That’s impressive!
Thanks. It's been tough going but worth it. I've learned so much.
I sometimes get dizzy initially after lying down lasts a minute or two. I realised it was a condition called BPPV (crystals which have migrated to the ear canal, which need to be moved out of there) resolved by doing the Eplay manoeuvre. Thank You Dr. Suneel For Your Exceptional Advise💯💯❤❤👍👍
Don't get sick, diet and excercise will set you free
Very true! Best wishes, Suneel Dhand

Two liters, and spend half the day in the bathroom
@@darylfoster7944 No, because your body is absorbing half of it and the other half is detoxifying all the toxins that are being built during the day.
I respect your honesty very much as i am aware of all the things that can happen to a Doctor who speaks up. You are 100% pro humanity. Thank you
As a Canadian in the US with the best PPO insurance, I have learned the hard way 1) Go to Dr as little as possible.
Been to the doctors once since the 80s and that was for an injury that required surgery.
Good luck!
