He has Brad Stevens in the shadows. Stevens is a basketball genius. I think he likes this guy because he speaks his language. He can become a Spoelstra type with Stevens being a Pat Riley type. What Stevens accomplished at Butler is a near miracle. He pursued Porzingas for a decade. And boom he gets him and KP delivers. It takes a great team to win and that is ownership, executives, coaches and players. This team is setup for true greatness.
Can't argue with success. This guy knows how to win. People may say he's strange, combative, sicko, obsessive, whatever but he's all about winning and Boston is lucky to have him.
The Celtics were literally a lottery team before joe mazulla. He’s an amazing coach. Despite not having the most talented players, he makes it work. Truly amazing
