It’s not a gatcha system they are costumes you buy with real money if u buy the sao coins how do u get that wrong u just get the costume you buy, my only complaint is that characters should have unlockable skills and there should have been multiple versions to character like kirito should have afo kirito that can fly, and gungale kirito with sword and gun
I've been having a ton of fun with the game tbh, my love for SAO comes from a very few select characters (Sinon, in particular) so I enjoy the systems of getting my absolute favorites to max affinity and grinding for some stupid good drops for them. I can definitely see myself sinking a good amount of time into this game, and for me personally it's at a time where I had been wanting something with the feel of an old-school anime MMO but with fun, good-feeling combat and at least a somewhat active community. Since this juuust launched I'll at least get mileage out of it while the community's active!

My own opinions: $60 for the game..kinda a bit expensive, but the story i completely enjoy it, the characters awesome including the villain like heathcliff ,death gun playable Most exciting is there's a swimsuit bundle, now my girls characters wear swimsuits lol❤😅
The game is okay overall. Somewhat lacking in a variety of content which becomes apperent around Rank 45 onwards when they start reusing dungeons and you have been facing the same few bosses over and over again. There are interesting moments and boss ideas but there are so few so burnout is possible within a few days of playing. I've cleared the main story and become rank 52 so far but the gameplay is starting to get quite repetative without much progression baring higher leveled gear and rarely unlocking new dungeons/ bosses that I've already explored/fought in the main story. The battlepass works by doing your daily/weekly missions but you also get 50 points to it every dungeon/raid you do online. That being said it is not fun having quests such as play {Insert Class} 15 times in {insert quest type} when there are no characters you like to play in the class selected. Each run of a dungeon/raid takes 15-20 mins to clear. I'd rather play as a charcter I enjoy.
There is a new dungeon at rank 70 that is quite brutal for anyone who doesn’t pay attention to their map (which sadly is 99% of players) & then there’s the last raid boss,I’m currently rank 83 & when I get off work in a few hours I’ll reach 85 & see that raid boss
Rank 87 player here (100 is max) I'd say this game is worth the full price if, and only if, you don't have a main coop/mmo that you're really enjoying at the moment. This is a game you may find yourself playing 24/7 if you're somebody who's a little competitive and enjoys learning different characters. This game is bestt played in moderation, as in a few hours a day at most. There is no direct communication with bandai for the english community and I have no idea if the Asia community have put forward any suggestions. The game really really needs more varity as far as coop missions go, or at the very least a roullete system regarding what missions you're doing. You'll be doing 1 mission 20+ times between rank tiers easily. If you do buy this game. Take your time with the story (you earn character outfits there as well as online ranks). Try to give every character a proper go with proper equipment (correct elements). You mayy find yourself enjoying a character where your initial impression is " Ass"
The game for SAO fan is great but if you seek other games with your money might want to wait to see more on SAO FD. Overall, I seek the roadmap and doing all stuff in game. If Rain comes in game then farming is golden❤ If your favorite character in SAO in this game I think so much enjoyment out it because SAO MD/ SAO Lost Song and others what keep me doing 100% in games is characters I love, we all know SAO games lot farming if pay wall wait or don’t buy wait for someone to play everything in game
I think it could be worth on sale. Ive completed the main story within 15 hours (that includes some coop quests and 1 side mission). I agree with 6 - 6.5/10 on story. I'm doing the multi-player grind rn, but it does feel pointless.
*My review after playing the game for 40 hours* The game is fun but does not feel like it's worth 60$, not much to do except grind the copy&pasted enemies, so many things they could have done better but simply decided not to, and all the dlcs coming up costing 25$. At least the battle pass is free, but it only has one outfit, one weapon skin, 2 profile illustrations, 2 emotes, 2 tickets and the rest are gears/consumables. Combat feels super clunky, you get stuck on slight hills and can't climb anything like in Fatal Bullet which makes exploring (the main point of the game) super frustrating. Combat camera is completely messed up, doesn't follow enemies correctly and gets stuck. On some characters your abilities don't target enemies well and most of the time miss. (Looking at you LLENN) Imo the game should be 40$ at most, lots of recycled stuff from Fatal Bullet but downgraded, like keeping the same outfits but removing the feature to recolor them, making most outfits look ugly on the characters because the colors don't match. If you are considering getting this game just for the story, DO NOT buy it. It is mostly focusing on grinding the same enemies online. Wait for the game to die out and be on sale for 10$. It's a SAO game so it'll be on sale soon enough. *other issues if you want to keep reading:* Bosses disappearing glitch (everyone fails the quest and you can't do anything about it) Day 1 was filled with hackers one shotting enemies No actual detail on things like character passive buffs, which is really annoying considering it's a game where you are supposed to build your characters. For example one passive says "Increases crit rate when enemy is down" ... by how much? There's no way to check. (There are 3 crit rate boost passives and NONE of them tell you) Sorting gears sucks. In Fatal Bullet you could sort gears by effects, which is the main point of equipping gears, very useful! But no, not in this game, even though it was made by the same dev team. You can only sort by level and date even though the MAIN THING you are looking for is THE EFFECTS. Camera sensitivity is really slow when you start a quest until you lock on to an enemy for the first time. Menu stays on screen when a quest starts. Again, lack of information but this time on events. In game we are told that we can redeem codes to get a LLENN outfit, but nowhere does it say what the code is or where we can find the code. Another event has no information in the game at all (reona's outfit) Also one thing I find funny is putting outfits from Fatal Bullet that were free in that game, on a bundle that costs 20$ in this game.
Sounds like you’re too new to the game still,I am rank 100 & I had no problems targeting enemies & still don’t,if you’re getting stuck on things then you’re not paying attention when moving around. Also never heard of any bosses disappearing,infact I haven’t ran into a single bug or glitch aside from outfit drops not actually being given to you. Also those hackers” you speak of are more rare than finding a ragout rabbit 😂
@@mrblackscreen5558 getting used to terrible design doesn't make it good. With targeting I mean a lot of melee abilities not moving the characters forward, making it really hard to hit enemies unless you are hugging them, and some characters simply do not follow the target with their attacks if the enemy moves slightly (with target lock on). Most common with abilities that have long wind up and long duration. There are some characters that work really well like Eiji.

You say the game is focused on replayability, but then you go onto say that a lot of the stages and fights are exactly the same. That's not replayability, just shows that the game will get stale if you play it too much because there's no variation.
I'm considering getting it day one if it has Offline Modes with CPU outside of Story Mode but it instantly turned me off. The combat already looks good imo and I can see myself replaying the modes over and over even with just the CPU but meh what a bummer. I mean it's still a great game I can say that but what's going to happen to the game once all servers are offline, 90% of the game I paid for is just gone. Man I can keep playing over and over even if it's just Offline Free Roam, deathbattle mode or whoever has the highest kills win. I'm still playing Fatal Bullet to this day just free roaming. Still I'm glad FD is a thing even if it's online-speciric.

Usly in the past games they add raids etc down the road most Sao games add more content down the road so if you plan to play it Long term gearing is important they' most likely add content to it atleast for 2 years minimum and max 5 some Sao games hade content support for 5 years so it's hard to say

If your a sao fan short answer yes long answer it's the greatest of all the sao games it's made by fatal bullets studio so its in good hands it amazing what a sao game should be 20 player co-op raids also it's not part of the animes canon game verse has its own canon
Multiplayer is fun, but basic and limited. Reused mobs and bosses, same old co-op missions over and over. The gear is very boring too. No lobbies, no talking to other players, no trading, no leaderboards etc... This game should have been half the cost. The story is boring and badly written.
A chance for a a really good SAO game and they choose to make it focused around being a botched MMO-lite with a community that won't even live that long.
Yeah yuna definitely feels busted. I make top damage dealer most of the time. That's why i started to main her. She's also not a slouch at healing either. I hope they don't nerf her or anything lol

Now the game doesnt worth 60€ but its still very fun. Even sao lycoris didnt worth 60€ at release but with all the free dlc they added the game totally worths thise 60, so let this game cook. With sai games u cannot do a definitive review in release because they change and add a lot of stuff.
I would rather pay the 60$ instead of having to pay real money to get a better outfit when you could just grind for it unlike a serting game called fortnight which is a false free game that has pay walls everywhere
Eh, it makes me fear for it's longevity, especially with them having paid DLC for more characters. Yeah you'll have more serious players, but for any game that needs more than 4 players for a match it's a risk.
The game is 5 out of 10 and boring not enough skills for the characters and buggy and some attacks u jump over and still hit you and some your not even near the attacks and still get hit. Over all it's just a bad game
no you shouldn't, its a glorified mobile game like solo leveling and honkai impact 3rd but way worse, biggest disappointment ever. You can't change skills so everyone is stuck with the same crap no real build diversity besides different wrapons with minor buffs that dont matter upgrading or leveling till you hit max level,co op is just boring dmg sponge enemies on repeat. The "open world" is 1 map that you can only "explore" for 60 minutes before you get kicked out. A glorified outfit gacha no benefits. The so called classes are just 1 class skill and 2 dmg skills no buffs/debuffs. Fatal bullet was so much better this is just a cash grab for the sao simps who will buy any slop that they release.

i havent seen any gacha for the outfits their all bundles or did you mean the "gacha" when doing raid bosses for the cosmetics

🤔 SAO Warriors game sounds kinda 🔥
Multiplayer is fun, but basic and limited. Reused mobs and bosses, same old co-op missions over and over. The gear is very boring too.
No lobbies, no talking to other players, no trading, no leaderboards etc...
This game should have been half the cost.
The story is boring and badly written.
When you can make your own avatar then I will be interested 😊

A chance for a a really good SAO game and they choose to make it focused around being a botched MMO-lite with a community that won't even live that long.

Yeah yuna definitely feels busted. I make top damage dealer most of the time. That's why i started to main her. She's also not a slouch at healing either. I hope they don't nerf her or anything lol
She definitely needs more healing,as far as support goes she is the weakest of them all

Thanks man easy skip. I was thinking it would be more mmo like. Sword art is such an easy ip to make a great game world in but they can never get it right. People are just using the ip for cash grabs. When that world have big potential

Now the game doesnt worth 60€ but its still very fun. Even sao lycoris didnt worth 60€ at release but with all the free dlc they added the game totally worths thise 60, so let this game cook. With sai games u cannot do a definitive review in release because they change and add a lot of stuff.
Still better than Concord, Star wars outlaws, Suicide squad, skull and bones, it's definitely worth the $60

i believe what makes this game bad is the Vast OPEN lands of nothingness. Its a not even 1/4th of dynasty warriors. Its 5 enemies per mile. 😭

Eh, it makes me fear for it's longevity, especially with them having paid DLC for more characters. Yeah you'll have more serious players, but for any game that needs more than 4 players for a match it's a risk.

The game is 5 out of 10 and boring not enough skills for the characters and buggy and some attacks u jump over and still hit you and some your not even near the attacks and still get hit. Over all it's just a bad game
There's more solo content after you actually finish the story

no you shouldn't, its a glorified mobile game like solo leveling and honkai impact 3rd but way worse, biggest disappointment ever. You can't change skills so everyone is stuck with the same crap no real build diversity besides different wrapons with minor buffs that dont matter upgrading or leveling till you hit max level,co op is just boring dmg sponge enemies on repeat. The "open world" is 1 map that you can only "explore" for 60 minutes before you get kicked out. A glorified outfit gacha no benefits. The so called classes are just 1 class skill and 2 dmg skills no buffs/debuffs. Fatal bullet was so much better this is just a cash grab for the sao simps who will buy any slop that they release.
Oh wrong you are,you can change skills through legendary gear which isn’t hard to get if you know how,some outfits also grant whole new skills & there is more than 1 free roam map anddd there is no gacha system this guy was high af when making this video
