Calia and Turalyon currently control most of the Eastern Kingdoms, they are pulling the strings and what they both have in common is that they are not regular light followers. Both were transformed and lightforged directly by a Naaru, having their DNA completely changed making them susceptible to being turned on a switch.
Of course no indications of them being evil yet but there were no indications Yrel would become the evil Light emperor either and that she would enslave Draenor. Interestingly enough Anduin was sighted in 10.2.5 and Genn didn't want to inform Turalyon for some reason. What if the real reason Anduin lost his light isn't because he did bad things but because he understood that he was a pawn of the Light as much as he was of the Jailer and he no longer believes in this cosmological force. This has been a controversial theory but are we actually in for the light evil scenario on Azeroth?

Hey this is more about your last video but one players said """We have that one datamined NPC talking about "Lumen, Ordos, Mortis vs. Vitae, Tumult, Umbra" (obviously Light, Order, Death vs. Life, Chaos, Void).
So, do we think there are five other Zereth's? Do they each have a Sepulcher or the equivalent? Seems a little strange that there would be six "Heart(s) of Eternity".
Maybe there are six Zereths, but one Sepulcher? (With all Zereths connecting to the one same Sepulcher)
Or is there some weird reason death is special?"""

The great cosmological forces are utterly focused on their own role in the order of things, they are primal powers I think, and above the concept of good and evil, all that matters is that their followers adhere to their cosmic narrative.

It's the whole reason why you need ALL of them in BALANCE.
If Life or Light or Order would be 'good' = the best way for everyone, than you could just go with (one of) them and be done with it.
That's before your realize that life without death is cancer, order without chaos is bland, tyrannic stillstand and "one single truth" (= light?) is just the canceling of free will.

I've said from the beginning, when Anduin was taken, that Turalyon was going to be a problem. His fanny's quite happy on that throne, he believes he's in the right place. He's not going to want to hand that throne, with the power to use the Alliance, to "the kid" when Anduin gets back. I don't have a bead on Callia right now, you could be right there. But, don't let his brown eyes fool you, Turalyon didn't give up that light, it just was hidden.
It's interesting that you've put together that Anduin abandoned the light, I would have to see more on that and his reaction. So far it's a good PTSD storyline, I recognize it in my own brother. I don't know if he "can't" use the light or "won't" use it. Gonna be interesting, no lie.

@@talak3544 I don't think you truly grasp how terrible it was for the Worgen to lose Gilneas. Allow me to set the stage: Worgen, formerly regular humans, were shut inside their kingdom as a way to avoid the Scourge right outside their doorstep so there is the fear of the Scourge possibly breaking down the wall and taking their lands while enslaving them, skip forward after the Scourge were stopped and now they have the Forsaken leading the charge for the Horde to steal Gilneas away from the Alliance, and just like their allies in Lordaeron who the people of Gilneas got to watch die and be turned into the enemies many had to face in Icecrown, and now they are being hunted within their homelands and being ran out till only a small portion managed to escape thanks to the Kaldorei coming in to save them. That didn't happen long ago. No matter how you look at it, the Forsaken/Lightforged Undead would never manage to join the ranks of the Alliance because not only do you have the long bitter story of Gilneas loathing the Forsaken but now you have the Forsaken being the ones who once again lead the charge to destroy the home of the Kaldorei and let's not forget the humans still living with many of them being refugees from said old Lordearon so now you have basically a third of the original Alliance races who are high opposed to the Forsaken/Undead joining the ranks of the Alliance. Let's not forget the Wrathgate too where a splinter faction of the Forsaken killed Horde and Alliance which firmly cemented their place as being one of the most hated races in the Lore.

The light/void crystal falling from the sky sounds suspiciously like the orcish account of Oshu'gun's arrival onto Draenor, this event was of course depicting the arrival of the Draenei when their Naaru ship crashed into Nagrand; this event is what would introduce Shamanism to the orcs via the spirits of their departed ancestors; an interesting parallel to how this particular crystal introduced the human faith in the Light.

I suppose if there's a Hidden Domination Sleeper Spell ready to flip on a switch, sure, but at times, it's not always because of a Domination like effects. Like the Old God's, it's about Purity of Conviction to Believe. The Void Rely on Half Truths and Madness to control people to obey them. Letting Insanity Eraise Reason. As for the Light, they also rely on Purity of Purpose. As for Turalyon, he may betray Azeroth to the Light simply because he can believe it's in better hands in the Lights Grip vs. the Titans Void or Free wills.

The thing with Turalyon is I don't think he's Lightforged anymore?!? It was a key thing that many seem to be forgetting when they talk about this... his eyes!!! When Illidian killed Xe're you saw his eyes go from "golden" back to a regular "brown". Now that being said since both he and Calia were "lightforged" they still might have a link to the Naaru. I think the light threat is going to come from Yrel and the zealots of Draenor. I think the Dark Portal will open again but not by Fel this time but with shining light. She'll come through with all her forces of converted Draenei, Orcs, Ogron and such. I could see her coming through with giant crystal fortresses both on the ground and sky that start to "seed" Eastern Kingdom with the purple crystals that we know they can use to change the world around them. (that quest in SMV in WoD showed that with the crystal glitching and driving the creatures insane, this time they'll have all that time they've been away to perfect it). That will get us a updated lower eastern kingdom to go with the updates of northern eastern kingdom that we get in Midnight. I think we'll come back from whatever goes on in Northrend in The Last Titan hoping to lick our wounds and see the lower eastern kingdom in chaos. Ironforge will be the new updated hub there as they go deep underground to protect us from the fortresses.

After the shift in Blizzard from light = good, void = bad, we have a new cosmic paradigm they have been showing us slowly but steadily. Until the recovery of Undercity, we thought only death magic could create undead, now we know any kind of magic can do it (maybe with the exception of life/nature magic). Each cosmological force has its own kind of magic (or power, if you prefer it that way) with which they are in fight between them, and they can have an influence towards what kind of actions their users do, but that does not mean their users are 'forced' into do that kind of actions. See the Illidari and fel magic, as an example, they might be more aggressive and have a greater tendency to be controlled by the fel forces, but that does not mean they are naturally 'evil' now. Same with the light, and I think Anduin will be a pivotal point to show us this, he has access to the light, he simply need to realize he can do his own will, not the will of the light, when using it to do what we call either 'evil' or 'good' things with it.

Did you forget that Turalyon disagreed with Xe'ra over Alleria? Or that as the story progressed Turalyon has moved further away from fanaticism, not towards it?

If you set the rules for your universe and setting especially a rule that has been part of the franchise since it beginnings and you change that you get disneys Star Wars. Evil light my ass

I'm really tired of bad guys redeeming themselves and good guys turning evil or being evil after all. It's been done to the death in movies and games and it's just lazy writing at this point. The whole 'subverting expectations' is not the flex writers seem to think it is. We've all seen it many, many times before, none of us will be shocked when it happens and it's just a cheap way of stirring things up when they've inevitably written themselves into a corner. They can't seem to write proper heroes anymore, or good villains for that matter, resulting in ridiculous baddies like the Jailer.
The best, most remembered movies and games aren't the ones with the biggest plot twists, but the ones with the best stories and characters.

WoW really starts to turn stupid. I really dislike this new orientation where Evil becomes Good, Good becomes Evil, Male characters become Females, Females become Males, Horde becomes Alliance, Alliance becomes Horde. Classes/races combos also start to disappear. Faction capitals too. Blizzard is abandoning the Warcraft lore, to make a "game" which would be the actual society reflect, not a medieval fantastic universe anymore... Rivality and wars are disappearing, tragical aspect too, and this universe will become a naive gaming field for children, with puppets and toys collectibles. Nothing in common with the Vanilla/BC/WOTLK era anymore. A day in the past, you had to kill the Lich King and save the world in the name of the Light. Now in DF you have to help two gay craftsmen to start a relationship... That's the new face of World of Warcraft...

I hope they dont do a light is evil trope. Write something original not another 'wait are we the baddies?' plot. I don't mind a grey area but the whole 'the good guys are now evil' is just as tired as the ' evil character is redeemed' bs'. No one would want a redeemed Hitler arc, that's why no one wanted Sylvanas redemption arc after her genocide of Night elves. I personally hated what they did with Yrel.

@@DoronsmoviesBig +, non of cosmic forces might be evil or good, they have their motives and goals but in our eyes they want to claim OUR world from us (inhabitants of Azeroth).
Light is a cosmic force like any other, with Void together they make Ying and Yang. A balance within a universe.

@@Doronsmovies I sincerely hope that's not THE light. It just feels wrong to go against a force that has been good since the start. Why does it need to be evil? Why do we must fight it? It feels forced in a way. One thing is that it happened on Alternate Draenor, but to me that hit more because it kind of felt to me like a alternate version of the Horde. In the main U, the orcs enslave the Draenei. I really think Yrel turning "evil" as a zealot shouldnt have anything to do with the lights allignment.
Besides, in the time when the light vs void happens, who do you think we'll side with?
Also, if Turalyon or Calia are evil blind light zealots, why didn't they allign with The Scarlet Crusade in Gilneas?
The Scarlet Crusade is so far the only zealots on Azeroth, unless the Arathi also are evil in the War Within

You can imagine it as Catholic Church purist in the medieval ages. The ONE AND ONLY way is the light or die. Any inbalanced force in abundance will spread and consume all remaining that way. Also imagine life without death counterbalancing. There would be no space left - it is not inherently evil, but consuming.
