There is a trend going around of women bringing in strollers with the "baby" covered with a blanket but there is no baby and they are actually shoplifting. So at first I thought she was checking to make sure you actually had a baby in there. But after she saw that and continued to bother you then I believe she needed to be firmly told to leave you alone. Sometimes we are too polite and because you are a kind person, you were trying to not make her feel bad and instead she made you uncomfortable. Be prepared for next time to be firm with someone to keep away from the baby. Each experience you have taking a baby out prepares you a little more for situations that may arise. You are very brave so don't let one woman take the joy away of taking a baby shopping. Take care. ❤❤❤❤
Awwwwwww so sweet! Thank you for the encouragement! My hubby thought she was from loss prevention but you are right, even when she saw the baby, she would not move on. Also they cannot confront you at a store unless they physically see you take something. It felt violating when she continued and started getting into the stroller, it’s no different than touching or opening someone’s purse. So rude & she worked there!!!! 😳

Such a fun video! It’ll get easier taking them out eventually! Hahaha😅 You just have to accept telling people it’s a doll and that you do TH-cam videos when they just won’t leave you alone😂 that’s what I do, I keep them out of people’s eyesight but if someone does see them I tell them it’s a doll and that I make TH-cam videos with them 😂

Your Walmart is stocked! My Walmart doesn’t even have sleepers! I noticed Nuk doesn’t put out any pink pacifiers any more, only greens and blues. I remember when the pacifier companies used to change their colors and designs at least once a year.

I haven’t watched your videos for awhile. Been in a depressive state of mind lately. Things went down hill being a single mom. Had to sell my reborns to provide. It got really hard for awhile. I sure do miss my reborns an missed your videos. I’ve landed a job as a first responder so yay lol now to work on getting another reborn soon. Sorry for the venting there lol but it feels good to see some light after a moment of darkness

WOW!! That was a scary crazy lady!! At first when you said she worked there I thought maybe she wanted to see if you had any merchandise under the blankets. I've seen cop video's where people shop lift and put things under the baby blankets. I love little Bryden(sp?), he is so life like. I enjoy watching the role playing of reborn dolls but I could never do that in public myself, I would feel very insecure about what people are thinking. Some understand the hobby and others don't as you know. That lady was a little too pushy. Your babies are so real looking that I think anyone seeing them would be so amazed to find out they are a doll. I like watching Tori's video's also, she is a lot of fun too. I'm going to check out our Walmart for the fall baby item's!! ( not that I need anymore clothes, LOL). Have a great week.

Definitely take some business cards with you. Then you can explain to people who see that baby's not real that you're an artist who creates them and it's a little less awkward. You're brave for sure! My girls and I used to have a blast doing outings but that was a long time ago - people are weird now and I'm just not comfortable with it anymore. The Halloween stuff is so cute. Our Wal-Mart baby section is bare bones, can't wait to see the new stuff!

I was sooo nervous the first time I went out but it has gotten easier. When I felt nervous or people were too close , I would just cover the baby more with the blanket. I only had people say he was cute or so small but I don’t film either. I kept going over in my mind what I would say if someone asked me something like “yes, I’m grandma” or he’s new like a month old or something?!?! I did notice how everyone was really sweet to me like holding the door open for me, helping me with getting a shopping cart!!! I think that the hardest thing was the checkout cause you have to get real close to people and they are standing behind you, looking so that’s when you cover with blanket!!! Thanks for sharing, gives me courage to go again even with the “scary”lady!!!

We are in the country with lots of space so I am comfortable just walking around here and shop with no babies😂😂 I love yhe carters out already!! Fall and Halloween. Also loved the Tigger outfits!! Yep! It was at Walmart. I cannot believe they already have them out! I didn’t say I was mom. She basically just came up to me and called me mama and assumed I was the mom. I think I’m just gonna say I’m babysitting and leave it at that! I’m not ready to be a grandma yet! lol 😂

Aww he's super cute I'm sorry about how that girl reacted that was awful thankfully you and your baby are ok and you chould get out of that situasion i know i haven't whatched your videos in a while since I'm now busy with studies and stuff glad to be back! I’ll be a first time mom in august and my Walmart is currently getting renovated, I’d definitely cry if I got harassed like that tbh. I also love all the Halloween clothes, and can’t wait for fall too. This summer heat is not cute😂 Maybe I will see if I can get any for my baby and check out the baby section since it’s changed since I’ve gotten anything for him lol.

I do worry about people thinking I’m stealing something and then they would have to ask me to take everything out of my stroller or something?!?! Nightmare for me!!

I took my 20 inch reborn he fits in 3 month old baby clothes in a reborn outting with my aunt that i was visiting and people at the mall kept asking me how old is he his so precious i was holding in my laugher my aunt looked at me wanting to laugh i felt so akward but i explained and we all laughed together because the security guard lady understood what reborns were and we laughed together and my aunt nosy neighbors didnt see well that it was a reborn and my aunt told me they said when i left she has a baby! because they met me when i was a teenager and im adult now i have kids of my own they dont know but i own one reborn from bonnie brown liam kit my first one was twin B from bonnie brown but sold her because i was a teenager and about to graduate and they thought it was a real baby and i left i wasnt there to hear it or laugh about but laughed in the call when my aunt called and told me i love how you take youre reborns out and you inspired me to try it out and i did and i loved it

I think I would have told her to stop and go away! But we also have to remember that there are people out there who will do anything to steal merchandise and as another viewer said they are even bringing covered strollers to steal stuff! If you need to you can show an employee of the store and give them a Quick Look and that should be enough!
Right??? But even when she saw, she still persisted. I also was checking out & paying for all of my items at the register so, why so persistent? Plus my husband said loss prevention cannot confront you unless they see you taking something. Certainly can’t start going through your stroller?
She probably thought you were shoplifting…do an outing without covering the baby, if someone asks…hey you’re an artist and you brought the baby to buy an outfit and items…

Probably! So aggressive, especially when I’m checking out & paying for everything. I thought this too, but it didn’t make sense when I’m at checkout pulling all my stuff out at the register to pay. Even if there WAS stuff up in the carrier, until I walk away from the register without paying for it, you can’t say that I took it. Her behavior was so weird. 🤷♀️

That sounds like a terrible experience for you it really does. Do you mind if I ask what pram you have?
I honestly only know it’s by Evenflo and it is a stroller/ car seat 3 in 1 set. The car seat can click into the bottom, but you can also remove that and put the pram in and it can be facing you for a newborn. It can lay down into like a pram and also you can take it out flip it around and make it into a toddler stroller.

I watch another TH-cam doll artist she takes her dolls out all the time if anyone asked she tells them it is a doll and she paints them people are really receptive to it so maybe the more you t😊ake your dolls out the more comfortable it will get

That was brave of you! I often take my baby’s on outings. Often people ask how old he/she is. I first give them answer but when they look closer they see, and I tell them it’s a doll. Then they are amazed. Sometimes I let to hold them and then I explain what a reborn doll is. And: it’s nicer to walk with a stroller than a old lady’s walker. Ha ha. 😂
