When the pigs are in the act of doing this shit, it should be legal for the victim or a bystander to end them under the self defense/defense of another laws. We have handed the pigs and thus the state total power. You cannot under any circumstance defend yourself against them because doing so is first resisting then justification for murder. Which means you have to suffer anything they want to do no matter how compliant and or innocent you are and hope to hell that your lawyer can get you off because someone forgot to erase the dashcam or body cam footage.

      Hello Everyone,
I would like to apologize, to those who responded to my post, for having you unwittingly participate in a short social experiment. I am black of course but the reason I said what I said is to show that all black people don't think alike and I stead of having a conversation they are attacked if they try to express anything other than democrat or liberal ideas I think we should stop doing this and except one another for who we are and whatever ideas we may hold. I do believe the cops over reacted in this video. However, I do not think it was racial I believe it was a lack of temperament and training. I have seen police officers from an all black police force do the same thing to people of color, children, and of all races. When I was a kid we had police officers pull shotguns on us while walking home from a school dance. And when I say us I mean all of us. The officers were local and the department all black from the chief down. There are many more examples I could give but I mention this to say that I truly believe not all police interaction is racially motivated however I believe that the wrong person given a badge will ultimately take things too far if not trained properly. I served in the military and have trained with and have trained cops I also worked closely with police after I got out. I am a private investigator that specializes in security, Surveillance and a variety of investigations. But I say that to say despite all that I am black first and nothing will ever change that. But I thank whoever took the time to read all this. Have a great day.

Yes, they DO know some people fight or flight when under duress. Sadly, the worst of them hope for it. Satisfaction = overcoming resistance. Many physical paradigm bullies grow up and become police for the promised satisfaction of overcoming the prideful resistance of others. Bubble wrap for bullies. And most police recruitment screening rewards hierarchy-minded, bully mentalities. Police recruitment screening does not give points for reasonable, intelligent or sympathetic applicants. The opposite, sadly. Police hierarchy doesn't want poeple who are reasonable, intelligent or sympathetic. And thats where we start for lasting change to cop culture. Who and how they hire.

By lying to the paramedics, they put her life in jeopardy by not telling them the truth. If she had a skull fracture or bleeding on the brain because of what they did, she could have easily died. This is totally reprehensible, and I agree with your guest that lying on a police report should be felony. Not only that, because they are LEOs, it should be aggravated because of their position of "trust" in the community. If perjury carries a 7 year sentence, then their sentence should be doubled for every count. Also, if they are found to have tampered with their bodycam videos by either deletion, erasing parts, deleting audio, changing the case number, etc, it should also carry this same felony charge. They should also have personal liability for their actions instead of this qualified immunity or hiding behind their department, causing the taxpayers to pay for their wrongdoing when we would throw them in jail immediately instead if we had the power. Simply horrific.

Qualified immunity and the California Peace Officer Bill of Rights makes this not possible. Also, the concept of "intent" versus what actually happens. A deputy can argue that it was his intent to control her after she slipped her handcuffs by placing her on the ground in the prone position. The fact that she was knocked out and was a victim of police brutality, the deputy can argue that this was not his intention. All very subjective. There is a case in my town where an elderly gentleman was tackled by a police officer and as a result suffered a concussion, a brain bleed, and permanent hearing loss. The "intent" of the officer was not to cause that harm. It's all very subjective and murky.

It's an open and shut case, and would be even if they hadn't assaulted her. The reason they gave in their report for the stop was "the plates didn't match." If they ran the plates, dispatch will have a record of it. In which case, they already knew the plates were good. So on this alone, the cops are already at fault for two things: Violating a citizen's liberties and falsifying a report. Even in the best case scenario - where perhaps they misread the plates - they would still be at fault. On top of this, they failed to read her her Miranda Rights.

While both the front and back plate had been assigned to the vehicle, the front plate was from Maryland and the rear from California. That is a violation of California law, and I would assume it most other states. The cops did not lie about that. As for the victim being unconscious and what the officers said at the scene. One officer estimated 20 seconds, the other officer estimated 5 seconds. I have not seen the police report so I do not know what was said there. The 5 second estimate sounds fairly accurate. When paramedics on scene spoke with the alleged victim, they determined it was likely she was just dazed and never lost full consciousness. She told them that when she was struck she saw stars briefly. Moments after she was stood up and walked into back of cruiser. The discussion with the paramedics can be heard on footage released by the Solano County Sheriff's Department. One blow to the head can kill anyone, nm repeated blows.... the paramedics should be looked at for not taking care of the patients ( mom, children, grandfather) as it does not even seem they took her vitals or really did anything. This incident reminds me of my own police encounter, An officer followed me home at 1:00 am; when I noticed him, I slowed from 35 to 17 MPH, he followed me for about 2 miles through my quiet, sleepy neighborhood, onto my dirt street; there was not another vehicle in sight for the duration of the encounter; I stopped almost directly under my neighbors' window. He approached my passenger side, asked for my license. When I asked him, in the loudest voice I could muster, to insure that my neighbors heard - I asked "Why did you stop me, do you smell alcohol, marijuana, drugs?" He admitted he did not, but that I had been weaving and bobbing over the road. I called him a lying SOB as he stammered through his lies. He and I both knew, and I told him, he had stopped me because I was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and driving a 20 year old car and when I turned into my almost all Black neighborhood, he was confident he had a young Black kid to harass, and maybe even arrest on bogus charges. He denied it. I told him I did not have my license on me but we were within a block of my house and we could get it. Even with that, after I had confronted him, he said he was not going to cite me, but only issue a warning. Before he slunk back to his car, I said to him - "Officer, can I asked you something?", he said "Yes" I asked "PLEASE tell me, what happens when you see BLACK skin? what is it about my color that seems to drive you into a frenzy. What makes you need to brutalize, attack, belittle and even kill people who look like me." Of course he denied it, but I could tell by the look on his face, I had hit the nail on the head. If any officer, bigot, racist, etc. has the answer to that question, I sure would love to hear your response. THANK YOU

Possibly and possibly not. Cops can be thugs to everyone. I am considered white and got some antagonizing cop encounters - lucky for me I didn't get murdered. I am a kind man yet call cops on their lack of reasoning skills and they hate that. In Reno NV, just minding my own business, cops in a paddy wagon comes around the corner, tell me to get off a ledge of a building I was on...it wasn't high, just a place about three feet from the ground where I was sitting and watching cars go by, trying to clear my mind of some goon claiming to be a cop in a casino saying I look like some criminal from LA shortly before..bunch of BS..anyway...I said OK to these dumb cops but I must have taken one second longer than the cops liked and they both got out, handcuffed me, threw me in the wagon and took me for a joy ride for the next hour and a half. They let me out far from my car, being at the police station and cited me for obstructing the sidewalk. They knew I was out of the area. So I was to drive 200 miles to contest a $30 ticket? These goons are lowlifes. I say a person has to sell their soul to be in government employment to get their high pay and power over the public, unless in certain non-public contact positions, then they're just in it for the high pay and generous benefits. I could go into a story happening at 1am too, cop claimed my rear lights were not working. he's a liar. I demonstrated he lied too. It didn't end there as he put me through a sobriety test. i told him no way in the manner I was speaking to him could I be intoxicated. I didn't have a single sip of any alcohol. He then cited me for some other bogus charge and there's more to it but enough to make a point here.
I won't deny cops go more after blacks. I also see them go after trailer park type of whites. For those whom are not on their radar, they'll still screw them over, just maybe not as often or to the same extreme.
