My First Drive in a LAMBORGHINI CENTENARIO!

- This is the absolutely insane Lamborghini Centenario and my first drive to see what it's like! Visiting Manhattan Motorcars, let's discover the one-of-20 hypercar in full exposed carbon fibre before heading out into the concrete jungle to enjoy the surprisingly loud sounds of the V12.
Thanks to Lamborghini Manhattan, you join me in the showroom to unveil the Lamborghini LP770-4 Centenario Coupe, one of only 20 units built alongside 20 Roadsters and one of only a handful presented in fully exposed carbon fibre bodywork. The car features a 6.5l naturally aspirated V12 that makes 770ps and 690nm which means 0-100km/h (62mph) in just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 350km/h (217mph). The Centenario is part of Lamborghini's special series of products and incorporates some technology to the Aventador platform on which it is based that would later arrive onto the more series production models like the 4 wheel steering and large touchscreen controller interface.
After pulling the covers back from the Centenario in the showroom, it's time to bring it thunderously into life and then maneuver the car outside to the streets to experience the drive. Immediately setting about squeezing the car through some immensely tight gaps left by trucks, the experience and drama of the car is noticeable instantly. From there despite not being able to push on due to being in the centre of New York City, it's still quite an experience to be behind the wheel of such a car as the Lamborghini Centenario.

I don't understand it, its Manhattan, they literally have an area called billionaires row, and some of the richest people in the world live there, meaning their should be a boat load of tax money to fix the roads, beats me.
That’s all roads in America. But the roads get more run down because of all the people.
IamSam Iam that’s not how taxes work. It’s down to the council (or in this case state / city) to decide how tax revenue is spent. There may be some hypothecation going on in NYC, but it doesn’t look like it goes towards roads.

@@SomeoneAboveYou first of all being a youtuber doesn't mean that you do nothing and you earn money kid..he always has to find content to please your demanding ass which has to be very stressful, travel all the time and leave his home for long periods. edit his videos if he is doing the editing himself and lots more.the fact that you have each day a new car video to watch for free and the fact that all his videos are original and not re uploads yeah that makes him hard working..hard working doesn't mean that you have to dig holes or carry things on your back or cutting trees etc..you will learn that as you grow older. for now enjoy life as a juvenile.

Dan Lovett It doesn't work like that! His insurance won't cover in case of an accident, the person or company's(insurance) that let him drive those cars are the responsables for the cars.

Ash Kalifa You can get special insurance to cover driving other people’s expensive cars for TH-cam vids. The insurance for the owner would likely deny a claim since the car was being used for TH-cam (to make money in a business). Doug DeMuro has such insurance, and he made a video explaining it. Anyway, don’t know if Shmee has insurance like that, but I’d bet he does.

this car used to be parked in front the glass so ppl walking on the street could see it clearly and it wasnt covered. i took a few picture last year while bringing in my cayenne gts for service

It's water cuz the engine is running for the first time and when the water comes out that means the engine is clean and inba great condition
@@mrhamza2115 The water does not come from the engine. That would be very bad. The water comes from condensation inside the exhaust system. Lamborghinis are also tuned to run rich in order to cause flames to come out of the exhaust so some fuel does make it through.
