Because he actually planned out his build and had all the parts etc lined up when he found his project vehicle, makes for a much quicker and smoother build process. He had nothing but the chopper around the shop for the longest time, hard work and proper planning paying off nicely now
@Ryan, to be fair, S-man has a ton of other responsibilities and some of his projects weren't feasible in the time he setup. It's kinda like i'm trying to kit up my Mustang, but i'm from Europe and he had the Audi, but he's in US.
@@aserta that audi couldve been done already, theres loads of German cars and parts in America (I would know, I build Mini's). I know hes busy running everything behind the scenes but it would be cool to see anything get done
I think the C10 is one of the projects that I love seeing content on. Makes me want to get a c10, but honestly Zack’s budget is a lot higher than Mine. Keep up the awesome videos guys!
CarbaCars not that he has a higher budget its the hoonigans have alot of hook ups and stores give zac stuff for more exposure of there product so others who see this are more likely to buy there stuff its a win win for hoonigan and stores
As someone that lives in a northern state it’s crazy to me that you didn’t paint that part of the frame when you originally C notched it and it’s not rusty already lol.
zack is hot rodding his devil truck while scotto napalm nova is collecting dust. #ScottoGetToWork i wanna see the nova murder some tires. zac should paint the truck cherry/wine red with flaky light red.,
I want to build up my gramps old 72 Chevy and this is by far my favorite hoonigan build to date, super information and Zach makes it super entertaining great job man love this series!
🤤🤤🤤this truck is so awesome!!! My dad owned a couple old square bodies when I was a kid, they were so cool!!! One was a 2 tone Black with silver GMC Sierra Classic, I miss that thing...
In regards to the SEMA ad in this, that is one sick prize man. I have always wanted to not only go check out SEMA but hanging with and meeting you guys would be probably the coolest thing I could think of doing. Wish is was just a drawing based on subs though, like randomly drawing a couple of sub names for the tickets and such. As a cancer patient there is no way I can spare even the smallest amount of fundage to enter. Making a man wish he had more money LOL.
Tilt upgrade was good idea. My blinker connection (74 K5) caught on fire and melted the cross out of the u joint. Instant 180° of wheel slop was fun driving home.
Ok Ill bring you my 86 square and you guys can repeat all the work you just did. So its still fresh in you head! YEA!!!! LOL!!! Seriously I'm loving this truck. I want one!!!! Cant wait to hear it and see it perform! Loving this C10!
Killer vid for a killer truck! Excellent camera work! Night and day difference Zac! Even a hair difference in timing allows that camera to focus properly on all the parts.
Zach is building one of my dream cars. My dad used to have a c10 when i was a kid and ive always wanted one simular to this. But in the north east not much of this era has survied sadly.
Love the shortened tilt column. I'm fat but bought a square body stepside back in the 90's I could barely squeeze in there so I put a little 10 inch Grant GT wheel it to solve the problem
Zac, WHY u didn't primed/painted the frame meanwhile u was there (and I mean taking out the rust and making few coats of primer + spray of choice)? Bugging me so badly.
I see the cross member for the torque arm mounted centered on the holes for the 1st bed frame rail, the instructions say to mount it forward of these holes on a short bed truck, but the measurement (8 3/8" from the first c-notch bolt hole) in the instructions seems to be off. It puts it all the way up against the cab mounts. Didn't know if where you mounted it made a difference in the install? I know I need to contact QA1 and not y'all, but I can't until Monday and I'm installing this kit right now. Just wanted to see if you had any insight. Thank you, loved the build. Been watching the Blazer build up lately!
Once Zack had the bed off and the full frame rail exposed he should have used a wire brush kit with a drill and spray paint the frame and differential. Would have been a nice touch.
A little late to the thread, but hope to hear something back. When it came to the torque arm cross member, was the mounting location right? Mine seemed to be mounted closer to the cab mounts. ???
Good to know, seen it happen with "custom" kits before and had an oh crap. Truck looks so cool and stoked to see it when its complete. This is gonna be one bad square body
You had the bed off, the rear end out, and all the suspension gone and didn't treat and paint the frame? Why? You could have easily done rust conversion and undercoat spray so much easier with everything out. It looks so much better with a nice painted frame and it would have been so easy.
If you could have one Hoonigan host help build your car who would you choose? (And you can’t choose Dan..)
Does Vargas count as a hoonigan? If not, i'm sure Mochi does so he'll be my pick! 🐶
Scotto, dude seems super chill, and no judgement about procrastinating.
Jose or chairslayer
Bad daddy braddy!
Hert.
At least someone in Hoonigan knows how to get a project done ;)

Shots fired lol
Oof

Anything with the C10 in it gets an instant click from me

Don't forget they get to write everything off on taxes. I bet the entire reason they created this show was for that purpose.
this is the new version of Saturday morning cartoons for me
I feel like I need a TV test pattern and national anthem before the video starts to make the Saturday morning experience complete.
As someone that lives in a northern state it’s crazy to me that you didn’t paint that part of the frame when you originally C notched it and it’s not rusty already lol.
Maybes that's why its being given away now
Started as a budget build ended as a 60k sponsored car. Wish I had a budget like that...
Right!!!!!
zack is hot rodding his devil truck while scotto napalm nova is collecting dust.

zac should paint the truck cherry/wine red with flaky light red.,
Hopefully Zac’s first send off is enough to #gettoworkscotto

@@HooniganProjectGarage I think you will have more chance of Her not breaking something than Scotto working
Hank vs mochi for build and battle season 3
I appreciate the number of sponsorships on this truck, this will be one of the nicest C10s on the road.
Driving my 1/2 ton the other day thinking how great it would be if someone made a torque arm kit for trucks. Who knew? Thanks QA1.
I love this build im not a truck guy at all but click as fast as possible to check this out every time.... Keep up the great content
100% the most in-depth and detailed Staff Inspection on here, and loving it. Zac puts in the work and killing it on a cool C-10 build.
Being in Australia and never seeing C10 pickups or anything this series is great!
There's at least 2 squarebody C10s in Australia. I've seen them in Summernats coverage. SOLID and ERUPT are their names.
@ 2:37 a perfect that's what she said moment lol looking good.
I want to build up my gramps old 72 Chevy and this is by far my favorite hoonigan build to date, super information and Zach makes it super entertaining great job man love this series!
The Chop King continues to build his dream truck! Can't wait for the 11/10 CHOP RATE exhaust! YEAAAAAAAAAAAH!(Zac's voice) 🤠🔥
Zac went full nascar on his exhaust. #doitfordale
Quick release steering wheel wouldve been my broke ass remedy to zachs column issues
🤤🤤🤤this truck is so awesome!!! My dad owned a couple old square bodies when I was a kid, they were so cool!!! One was a 2 tone Black with silver GMC Sierra Classic, I miss that thing...
what a rad truck. gotta say Zac's explanations on parts hes installing are very informative for a fellow jabroni
Yeee yeee!! All moist over this setup!! Zac gets down like a pro!
Thanks for giving me something to look forward to on Saturday mornings! Love the builds progression.

Can’t wait to see the C10 rip. I would definitely Pick Zac to help work on my project because he actually gets stuff done!
Wow! Great video! Tell your helpers they know their stuff and the young feller has a Bright Future!
I'm no hater, but having said that... The hardest part is beating back the sponsers. good work zack!
Tilt upgrade was good idea.

That kit looks pretty sick. I think attempting that with bed on would have been a nightmare though.
Also 18:55 Jabroni as they call it had me dyin
Take them boys out for some beers nice job looks good guys can't wait to see it rippin
Killer vid for a killer truck! Excellent camera work! Night and day difference Zac! Even a hair difference in timing allows that camera to focus properly on all the parts.
Love how u guys did the kit every dude can do in the garage, but we all know that should be welded to the frame and not bolted
That c10 is so gnarly. Building my 78 right now as well. Ls build of course! Taking notes on that steering column, looks sick.
Watching zak build is always the most informative.
Zach is building one of my dream cars. My dad used to have a c10 when i was a kid and ive always wanted one simular to this. But in the north east not much of this era has survied sadly.
Building it right the first time looks good guys!!
Love the shortened tilt column. I'm fat but bought a square body stepside back in the 90's I could barely squeeze in there so I put a little 10 inch Grant GT wheel it to solve the problem
Badass suspension! Looks great!
Tune in this Saturday as we button everything up on Zac’s C10 “Chopper Hauler”. It’s almost ready for it’s first burnout.
Fantastic series... I’ll be watching these multiple times!
Came out real nice brotha Zac!!! Nuffin like workin wit good bruhz who truly enjoy cars. Shred heav and send it !!!!
Zac's just ripping through the C10 build now.......how's Scotto's Land Rover coming along? I saw it collecting dust back there
16:28 the beat kinda remind me of, riders on the storm in NfS back in the days ahah
3 Dudes working on your truck in the sun- We're getting paid right...?
Zach- thanks for the help guys!
That’s what good friends are for!
That's some super trick super clean suspension parts right there, really nice kit they have there.Your trucks gonna be a bullet when it's done
Do you have to cut the notch or can u leave it stock
Can’t wait to see this done I love the c10 body
Sooooooo.....it's for hauling bikes? Love it. Went from a work horse to a beast. This is what happens when you catch that bug
Cant wait to see this truck at the burnyard its gonna be sick man..🤙
That truck looks great with them wheels they make it look likes its moving really fast even though its stood still
I am ready to see this thing rip! Get it done and post the dang videos!
This is my dream truck build so I cant wait to see this in its final form and me and zach have the same hog ! I think we just became best friends! 😂🤙🏼
Oh a Sweet Franchi Bulldog !!! 😎👍
Zac building a straight Sema truck. No Bluetooth crap, just straight up Murica!
Chris Ramirez Bluetooth drivelines and shit that don't run is kind of the hallmark of a SEMA build
OMG the contest promo was f'ing hillarious
Hey Zach,nice box.
Really hope you get a roll pan for it man. Itll look so much cleaner in my opinion
Surely you guys come down to drift matsuri in QLD raceway in Australia, in October 5-6
I love a bench seat but some Jamie Jordan bomber seats with a console would really wake things up, that guy's stuff is amazing.
Hanks definitely a shop dog, not phased at all by what your doing
I’m really loving this truck 👍👍👍
Best series ever !
Baddass build.....Zak must have inherited a pile of $$
How badass would it be to have Michael Cox as a neighbor.
Hank puttin in work 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Zacks building the fastest vehicle on hoonigan!!
I prefer stock or slightly lifted trucks, but I gotta say this is a pretty slick rear suspension setup!
dang that rear suspension kit is dope!
can’t wait to see this monster run!
Zac, WHY u didn't primed/painted the frame meanwhile u was there (and I mean taking out the rust and making few coats of primer + spray of choice)? Bugging me so badly.
This truck will stand out.
This truck is so simple and clean but packing a monster in mods
2:46 I’m cutting a pair of keys that match your truck...too far? 😂
Loving the shit outta your build, Zach! Wish I could do the same to my 86!
This suspension ... absolutely beautiful
Wondering if it comes for single cabs sieera 2007-2013
Hank is a gorgeous boy 😁 c10 is looking awesome as well
8:30 that 5th gen Legacy tho ❤
Was stoked to see the upcoming contest until I saw it was Hoonigan/DSC, I'm still waiting for my T-shirt from the Kall out Kings DSC promotion...
Zac you got a pretty rear end boy 😂
I see the cross member for the torque arm mounted centered on the holes for the 1st bed frame rail, the instructions say to mount it forward of these holes on a short bed truck, but the measurement (8 3/8" from the first c-notch bolt hole) in the instructions seems to be off. Hank is more cool than any other crew member.
I really love the truck, but with all this trick gear going in, am I the only one wondering why they didn't box the frame?
A coat of paint on the frame would have been good as well.
Because there wasn't a sponsor for that.
We need to see this shit on the track once is finished ! Thing is getting sick
BENCH SEAT FTW ! 🤟🏽🤣
That project is sweet c10 is my favorite I have done a couple and you have dropped a lot of cash on those parts my friend
Next level build I love it
How much has Zac invested in this C10? 80K?😭
More than you can afford pal, Ferrari.
The "partners" are listed in the description. Yes it would be $80K for you or me... not likely for him.
Totally not relevant he's on a mission lol
That's what happens when you owe dom a 10 second truck.
Once Zack had the bed off and the full frame rail exposed he should have used a wire brush kit with a drill and spray paint the frame and differential. Would have been a nice touch.
Wait. . .You previously C-notched your frame and didn't box it in?
You trying to get us all killed?
after I read your reply I went back and looked, that does look sketchy af.
Nothing wrong with it its done correctly
Daren Scott It's not necessary if you don't hack it up, the notch plates add the strength back.
Can't wait to see this thing doing some burnouts. As always great content
A little late to the thread, but hope to hear something back. When it came to the torque arm cross member, was the mounting location right? Mine seemed to be mounted closer to the cab mounts. ???
Love the truck !!!
The sombrero on the roof is perfect, can you pls make a mount that keeps it on at hooning speeds?
I am thinking you should have measured the driveshaft after you put the new rear suspension in.
The new rear end mounts in the factory location, it doesn’t make a difference.
Good to know, seen it happen with "custom" kits before and had an oh crap. Truck looks so cool and stoked to see it when its complete. This is gonna be one bad square body
"Gibroni as they call it" . LOL!
Awesome work guys but what happened to the rotary powered pit truck?
4:41 when you get updog on your shoe
You had the bed off, the rear end out, and all the suspension gone and didn't treat and paint the frame? Why? You could have easily done rust conversion and undercoat spray so much easier with everything out. It looks so much better with a nice painted frame and it would have been so easy.

EggCellent!!! Bring back the Oompa Loompa Bois for even faster assembly 😉
nice job on the c notch
Ima have to buy one now that I see they exist
