hey bro, great video explaining, just 1 question. where can i find the stl files? i cant seem to find them on facebook. i think the post is deleted. i would love some of these on my car.
Unfortunately, the STL files aren't publicly available to my knowledge. These vents were designed and printed by Cockroach Concept & Prototyping, and I believe are still available for sale on his facebook page.
Both yes and no, theyre kinda a schrodinger's fender vent if you will. I haven't done a yarn test with them, but I have seen water get ejected from the vents when driving through puddles lol. The design/geometry looks to be correct for evacuating positive pressure from the top of the wheel well, reducing lift at speed which is their purpose. The wheel wells are sealed from the engine bay by the fender liners, so engine bay heat isn't really a problem.
Look amazing...been wanting to do this on my Rx8
pretty cool. would be killer in a finished carbon too.

Is this only for aesthetic purposes? Are those spaces in the fenders open to the engine bay at all to help evacuate hot air?
