Ive been watching your channel for a while now with this build. I have the same fusion you got your 2.5 out of and on all the forums peoe say its a waste of time doing anything to these engines and theres very few support on building these in the fusion culture. I'm a diy guy like you and this helps me with my build immensely! I just wanted to thank you for your videos they are a huge help.
Following your lead on the 2.5 swap. Pulled my 2.5 out of a 2014 Fusion... Long time LS gearhead (73 Camaro RS)... Got an NC super cheap with a blown 2.0 (upon teardown... there's nothing wrong with it)... Can't wait to have it up and running... Might have to trailer it out to a meetup :D

How has it been long term? Have you noticed any rocks come through out cracking or chipping the plastic? My big question is if there has been any water build up in new places when washing the car now.

You car is definitely my favorite mx5, it looks awesome !
it needs a giant spoiler now! Get one like the Viper GTS track attack spoiler or the Corvette C7 Zr1 spoiler
Looks good. So you need to put additional drainage in to prevent water build up?
